Dental Treats Should Be More Effective.
Iâve been trying different Raw Paws dog treats because I like their product consistency, varied healthy (natural/organic) pet foods and these qualities are essential to the good health of my dog. Heâs a 21lb Schnauzer whoâs is a finicky eater, but sure loves his treats which he enjoys three or four times per day. When it comes to dental treats, Iâve tried four different brands. Two of these were a brown rawhide looking chew and two were the typical green in shapes like bones, churros, or a giant toothbrush. I think the green ones are all essentially the same, but these were the only ones that hinted toward minty fresh breath after use. All dental treats are expensive, and I still canât tell if they actually keep my dogâs teeth clean. My Schnauzer has very little tartar on his teeth and heâs never had much buildup, but his breath is not what I would ever call âminty fresh.â I think his teeth are super clean because I donât feed him cheap or generic dog food or snacks. I suggest giving your dog these dental treats if it makes you feel betterâ¦I doubt if your dog really cares. I can say in my experience, this manufacturer puts out really healthy, safe pet products.

Dog hates chewing these, but loves to carry them around.
My dog enjoys carrying these around the house even though it hates actually chewing on them. Unfortunately, that makes them not that great for the original purpose of being dental chews. Not sure if this is due to my dog not liking the flavor or due to some other reason.

Longer lasting than most dental chews. Good for breath and teeth
My dog really likes these. She is kind of a snob about treats so I thought she would turn her head up at mint flavor but she immediately took to them. I was super happy. After several of them, I can see that they definitely freshen her breath more than other types of dental chews and I really like that. I brush her teeth using a peanut flavor toothpaste so this is a great after chew for fresh breath. They appear to be in a shape that would assist in removing tartar.I like the ingredients and the length of time she chews. The price point is really good as well, so I think we’ll be switching to these. Great they give back to pets too!
