Great product, Small bag, high price tag
I initially bought this because I find it so gross that almost all kibble has either soy, pea or lentil protein in it these days. You canât convince me legumes are good for dogs, itâs just cheap filler like wheat, corn, or rice except with a little more protein and a higher potential for them to be allergic to it. The kibble that I like the ingredients of, my dog doesnât like the taste of. So I was like, ok, Iâll finally commit to an expensive food and give that a try. So I chose this, I love the ingredients, I was skeptical when about the bag size -22oz- but itâs freeze dried so I was hoping it was just ultra light and there would be more servings in it than maybe I thought. But no, the downside of this food is that if I feed my dog 3 cups a day, the recommended amount for weight loss for her size and weight, the bag lasts 5 days and therefore costs about $10/day. If I feed her 2 cups a day and supplement with kibble itâs a little more affordable at like $7/day but thatâs still pretty insane for me to wrap my mind around. Yes sheâs my furbaby and Iâm investing in her health or whatever, but itâs a lot more than I was expecting to spend when I first purchased this food. I think it might even be more expensive than the Farmerâs Dog and Sundays and all those customized to your dog meal delivery brands that Iâve been unwilling to try in the past because the pricetag got me (I actually did place a Sundays order once but they never fulfilled it, but thatâs a story for another review) I will say, this is a great product: her digestion is immaculate with this food, she loves the taste, itâs got good ingredients. I think sheâs visibly a little less chunky than she previously was, without her begging endlessly for more food, which she has the bad habit of doing, so I think this food sits really well in her stomach and makes her feel more full than other foods. The price tag is just hard to take! Iâve used four bags so far and I have another one on the way because I really do think itâs incredibly good for her, but Iâm still reeling at the price, I just donât think itâs going to be possible for me to keep paying for this product.
SINCE U ASKED –
My dogs love it
Have purchased these on several occasions for my 2 dogs. Both love them and we used them as training treats. They are a tad expensive, but the quality is worth it and the dogs can’t get enough of them. Soft enough that you can crumble them as a topping or add to their meals whole.

Great Training bait !
I use this as training treats and my dogs go crazy. I also use when my dogs refuse to eat for various reasons. Mine love the chicken but we have purchased the other flavors with similar results. Great for the show ring too.

The BEST topper/treat
My dog absolutely loves these freeze dried beef treats. She is extremely picky with her food so we crunch these up and sprinkle them on top and she gobbles her food up. If we do any kind of training these are also the perfect training treats because she will do anything for one.

Great for picky eaters!
So glad to finally find a brand my dog loves! I have a pittie that went on a food strike. I had to meal prep dog recipes for him. Until we tried this freeze dried brand! He LOVES it! I got him the fish & chicken flavor and he loves both, although with big dogs this can be quite a costly meal plan, as with a 70 pound dog u are looking at a couple of scoops with very little product! I recommend for all, but small dogs in particular to save that coin. I mix the freeze dried with wet food to make it last.
