Metal plate
This is a good idea; I usually use pieces of cold tile or other ways to keep them cool. This is easier to keep clean. It suggests using ice under it and I wish there were a way to do that where the bunnies couldn’t access it because I could see that staying really cool.

I am not sure what this is except a shiny mat . It does not cool AT all . If I put a gel pack under it does get cold then the pack can be chewed by animals so it defeats the purpose. I will not ever buy again or recommend.

Cooling mat
This is a rectangular piece of some type of cooling metal. Itâs very thin. The instructions said to wash it and dry it off before using it. This helped to get the metal cold. My bunny seems to like it. Anything to help protect her from the heat is wonderful in my opinion. It definitely works as described.

I’m not sure if this cooling pad works. My rabbit didn’t use it at all. When I place a hand on it, I didn’t find it to be cool. I believe it to be a worthless purchase.

I have 2 babies, so the buy 2 seemed a great deal! 1 for each. Turns out, regardless how hot it is, they prefer to squish together onto 1 anyway (I’ll have to wait until they grow bigger to see if they’ll take one each). Decided on putting them together in a fitted space and putting a cold flask on one end so the thermoregulating properties of the alu help keep them cool by conduction. They fit great in the Ikea dollbed as well. Easy to clean, easy to take with, tested and approved by actual bunnies in actual hot circumstances.

I use it as a trial with one of my bunnies. so far so good. She seems to be happy and comfortable enough to help cool down with this heat.It was not easy to use at first because it’s slippery, but i left it on my bunny’s cage where she sleeps, and she was sleeping on it for a couple of hours. However, it gets warm, so not sure it cools down the bunnies for a long time. But i have used it outside the cage afterwards, it was cold again quite quickly, and my bunny has been using it outside of her cage as well, so I guess it helps her to cool down. I will probably get another one for my second bunny as it seems to work.
