Responds occasionally
Poor instructions for operation. According to the description it was to have 100 responses but we were unable to activate these. Only received 3 or 4 noted by the child.

Sometimes the most faithful translation of a poem is the most free… (For adults too!)
I have tried a number of electronic pets, including Joy for All cats and puppies (marketed towards seniors for companionship), and all previous ones I tried seemed emotionally flat. (This includes Star Trek tribbles and Furbies.) You pet a Joy for All cat on one sensor, and you get one wholly predictable reaction. Another sensor gets another predictable reaction. This is very free as a translation of any animal (I colored mine with black marker because I didn’t like pink), and it naturally includes playing music at times. But despite all this, it is expressive, and acts like it has feelings and desires. It is the least emotionally flat electronic pet I’ve seen yet, and when I interact with it many of its reactions are simply not that I touched one sensor to trigger one behavior and it did what I tried to make it do. Now there is a relationship between what you do and what it does; you pet it on top of the head when it goes “Ah-ah-ah” to try to stop a sneeze. But that is at the pet’s initiative.I want to see how others’ reactions to it are, but they made a toy that can please a little girl like a real pet, and with it they have made a toy that seems able to please an adult like a real pet.I would choose this over a Joy for All pet hands down as a gift for a senior in a nursing home.

This little toy is funny.
So bought this for myself, yes I’m an adult, but I like the idea of this toy. I read the reviews about the eyes poking out and yes they do. Its part of the toy and I’m assuming necessary for the surprise when it wakes up.Pros: Its cute, fun to just hold or turn on and interact with, has volume controlCons: The eyes are strange, the sounds of the motors, it does shed, but you can brush itNow keep in mind this is a toy, for the price its pretty neat. I think a child would enjoy this also people like me just looking for a robotic like pet option. Not the best but not bad.

Kid Likes It, Not Mom
The advertised pictures show itâs fur looking so fluffy and all the facial features look cute and well placed. In reality itâs fur is ugly, dull, and kind of matted. The fur feels like the same material thatâs used for the scruff-a-luv toys so if youâve owned one you can imagine what this feels like. Thereâs also no stuffing of any sort inside so the toy is hard and clunky. The robotic eyes are oddly prominent when itâs awake, they stick out way too far and you can see the plastic casings which gives it a really odd look. The ears arenât as prominent as in the pictures and the mouth is kind of hidden, the total opposite of the eyes. I will say the name of the toy is apt, it truly makes you think âWhat the Fluffâ did I just spend money on? However, my daughter likes it enough to keep it around and will play with it from time to time so she does find value in it where I donât and for that I will give it a moderate rating. Sometimes my girls will get toys that I purchase to gift to others, I would not gift this one unless it was specifically asked for, Itâs like a disheveled distant cousin of whatâs advertised.

Fun interactive pet
This was a great Christmas present for my daughter! I did receive a product initially that had appeared to be a previous return, but Amazon exchanged it at no cost. The new one came in perfect shape and my 4.5 year old loves it!

Doesn’t work, fraudulent product
Wouldn’t turn on at all. Replaced it with a new version. The new one wouldn’t turn on either. Despite changing batteries and following the instructions. Both versions came in battered packaging, were clearly refurbished. Dreadful. Should have read all of the other similar review.
