    Good product
Recommended by vet but not easy to find or in stock outside of the vet’s, where they charge too much.

    Our indoor cat loves it!
This cat food was recommended by our vet a few years ago for our indoor cat that was not drinking enough water and had frequent urinary tract issues. Our cat likes the flavor, drinks more water and has not had any more urinary tract issues since.

PLEASE READ THIS FOR YOU WILL NEED THIS KNOWLEDGE: MIRALAX is also needed for her
My cat wife is so constipated that I also have to give her a 1/2 teaspoon of MiraLAX mixed in with a little of wet cat food, and she is about 16 pounds which is why it has to be a 1/2 teaspoon of MiraLax that I buy at the grocery store under the instructions of my professional Veterinarian, and the rhythm is that on the day of a good bowel movement I pass up giving her the MiraLAX, and on the very next day I give a 1/2 of a teaspoon of MiraLAX each day until another good and again and on that day I pass up the treatment only to follow the next days with the MiraLAX until the day of a good bowel movement and again I pass up the MiraLAX only on that day; however, it does seem to work better of a 1/4 of MiraLAX in the morning and a 1/4 of MiraLAX in the evening, but that means that I need more wet cat food; therefore, I just do 1/2 of a teaspoon once with a little of wet cat food, and the rest of the time she gets this dry cat food mixed in with the dry cat food for Urinary problems that occurred with her constipation that also had her throwing up all the time as well, and when I stay on the rhythm of the MiraLAX all of the problems disappeared meaning that there is no constipation and no urinary problems and no throwing up all of the time. I wish that I was wealthy enough to create a dry cat food with MiraLAX mixed in and it makes me wonder why someone like Purina has not already done this because it would solve so many problems for cat lovers and their overall health where good bowel movements are definitely required.

    Best for my cat
My cat gets crystals. I use to take her to the vet and get a prescription for her specialty cat food. I switched to this as soon as I found I could buy it directly. So much easier and cheaper. She has not had any problems with this cat food and enjoys eating it. I highly recommend trying this cat food.

Great first bag, horrible second…bad batch?
My cat LOVED this the first time I bought it. She had been having urinary issues and this helped. She lost weight, healthy bathroom habits, ate it up immediately. The second batch came in and she wouldn’t go near it. It was the only food I had though and so she ate it eventually out of hunger. Then started puking. Every single time she ate it she got sick. I had to take her to the vet for dehydration and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Just that her GI tract was upset and she obviously didn’t feel good. They gave her prescription GI food for a week and she was back to her normal self. Today I gave her a scoop of this and again, she puked. Her other food she’s fine with and she was fine with this before. From day 1 she smelled this bag and didn’t want it. I feel like somethings wrong with the batch or quality control on it. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll buy again. I don’t want a sick kitty.

at 6 months old, my boy bengal started peeing blood out of nowhere so we brought him to the vet and they chalked it up to him being stressed (which wasn’t unrealistic because his sister -same age- had went into heat for the first time around a week earlier). so they gave us some medication and said he’d need to be on a urinary cary diet for the rest of his life considering he was so young and peeing blood. they prescribed us “Hill’s urinary care kibble” but something was off with the food. both my cats would throw up in the morning more often and my boy would have diarrhea a lot. so we did our research and found purina had a version of urinary diet kibble as well which was great because before this, we’d always give them purina kibble and wet food which they liked so we tried this one and they both LOVE IT. especially my girl cat (yes it’s fine for her to still eat this) she’s even gained a tiny bit of weight when we changed to this kibble because of how much she ate it ! safe to say, it’s bengal approved !

I love this cat food, my cats however are picky. Some eat it, others don’t. I mix it with wet food and they gobble it up. Bag is a great size for 4 cats and lasts about 6 weeks. (Wet food not as long). It is a good size pebble, round and flat in shape and size. Smells ok. Great price for urinary cat food. Helps prevent crystal growth in cats urine. (We have one)
