Our dog had IVDD surgery and they sent us home with an essentially a rope to help her walk. We got this product and itâs been a game changer for us. We use the handle and the back D rings to assist her hind legs while using the bathroom. Great quality and couldnât be happier.

My elderly neighbor was placed in a nursing home due to Alzheimer’s. His dog needed a new home, so I took him in. The dog had never been out of his yard in eight years. The dog was able to slip out of normal harnesses. I was worried that a tragedy would occur if the dog ran off.This harness by PUPTECK is well-made with nice stitching. The hardware is of good quality. I appreciate the padding to prevent rub injuries.The PUPTECK harness gives me peace of mind and a little bit more freedom for a confused older dog facing completely new circumstances.

Very well designed
Our Golden Retriever, Shasta, is elderly. She has lost her hearing completely, and her hips really hurt her. She has lost a lot of muscle tone in her back legs. She gets snippy when we try to help her up because it hurts her and she canât hear our soothing words of reassurance anymore. I had to find a solution. I searched around and finally chose to try this harness.I am so happy I did. It is very adjustable so we could make the fit comfortable. Shasta wears it all day long and it has made lifting her to help her stand, a breeze! The handles are perfectly located. The harness is very well constructed.I highly recommend this harness to assist your elderly dog or even to help control an energetic, overly exuberant dog.This is a great product!

Was hopeful but the medium even adjusted all the way down was too big for my 35 lb dog. It is also heavy for something to use with a dog with bad legs

Difficulty with fit!
This is a really well-made dog lift harness that I wanted to try for my almost 15-year-old Pitbull Boxer. She is at that time in her life where mobility is really becoming a problem. She is a pretty big lady weighing about 85 pounds and I got the harness in a size Large. My husband and I tried putting it on her and everything went well until we got to the back straps that go around the back of the legs. You cannot lengthen the straps, and they were too short to attach. We tried lengthening the front of the harness to give more room to the rear, but it was still too tight. This is a real well-designed harness that I’m sure would work well for most dogs therefore I’m giving it 4 stars. I am still trying to think of a way I can extend the rear straps to give her just a little more room because I think it would make it so much easier to get her into the car and also still be able to take her on short walks.

Pretty good injury harness but need more leg strap length
I got this for our 90 lbs golden doodle (maybe 95+ with all his fur lol) who has a limp in his rear leg. As a young dog, he fell back on his spine after his leg slipped under him on our hardwood when playing with my husband. He was temporarily paralyzed and came home in an injury harness, and our young son with Down syndrome (who was 4yo at the time) nursed him back to health.Heâs pretty much back to normal, but his limp prevents him from stairs and steep ramps. We had to get an extra wide dog ramp for doctors visits and such, but sometimes, my husband carries him into the car. So this harness will come in really handy in those times.In terms of size and fit, our dog is definitely on the high end of the range for this harness. Fully extended, the shoulder strap just barely fits (would probably fit a bit looser if he was shaved). The mid body strap has more than a few inches of room, and he is a pretty stocky dog with a large chest and mid body, especially with all that hair.But the leg straps need some more room. One would fit, but the other wasnât even close. The main harness wasnât that askew, so Iâm not sure why one side needed so much more strap. But we have a strap extender for our catâs carrier, and using that gray strap, the harness fits. It is possible this would fit fine if we have him completely shaved. All of that fur makes a difference!So I would rate this 4.5 stars, but I decided to give it 5 stars since this will probably work for most dogs (and maybe even our own if we shave him). I could also see this being helpful for cutting nails and brushing teeth. Thereâs plenty of straps on this thing to either secure him or help hold him in place for sure!I added photos so you can see how big our dog is compared to a dining chair and how the harness fits him. I added a close up of the grey strap extender that is made of fabric as it is meant for pets. It has hooks on both ends, but I will need a new one since the hook isnât big enough to get around the large buckle.This seems well made and has many areas of adjustments and many places to get a hold of the dog using the harness. The shoulder strap as well as the hind leg strap helps with his mobility if he strains himself chasing the cat!I would definitely recommend this for most dogs, especially if they have a limp or lame leg. Or for any large dog since they are prone to hip issues. Iâm sure as he gets older (he will soon be 7), we will be using it more and more. I kept the harness on with the shoulder and mid body strap on, and he seems happy with it!
