Amazing results !
Just started using it – don’t put that much in their water just a little every other day and see such a difference in their teeth- its crazy – plus they don’t have ‘death breath ” lol as we jokingly call it bec their breath gets so bad …( little yorkies) so happy with this product so far !

Hard to remember to use it
I honestly canât really say whether this does what itâs supposed to or not, but Iâm gonna assume that it does.The reason that I donât give it 5 stars is because itâs hard to remember whether you added it to your dogâs water or not, especially when thereâs multiple people that might be filling said water up.Maybe a little dye or something would help. Additionally, itâs annoying to measure out the right amount, because to put the right amount in, you not only have to measure this solution, but also how many cups of water you put in your dogâs bowl.

Seemed like a waste of money
My dog has problems with tartar and bad breath. She eats homemade food so is lacking in a crunchy kibble to help clean her teeth. I’m a fan of Pupford treats so thought this would be a great solution to her problem. I have no idea what the benefit of this was. It had no odor. It did flavor the water because I noticed she was drinking a lot less of it (I didn’t try it myself). I stuck with it for a couple of weeks but at that point, I just gave it up. I’m used to giving the dog fresh water several times a day and since she was drinking less, I was throwing out a lot of this. The ingredients didn’t seem particularly tied to dental health (based on a Google search) and my vet thought I was wasting my time, too. She felt that using a dog tooth brush and getting regular dental cleanings made a lot more sense. If Pupford had provided any evidence of this product’s efficacy, I might have been willing to stick with it longer, but given that there was no observable improvement, no evidence that it had worked in tests, lack of support for how the ingredients would work and the dog’s resistance to drinking water when this additive was mixed in, I would not recommend this item. NOTE: The product page now includes a lot more information including a video that addresses the absence of information I had access to when I ordered it. But the willingness of the dog to drink water to which this has been added would still prevent me from continuing to use this.

Undecided for our doggis
We got this a few weeks ago and immediately gave it a shot. I added the recommended amount to a new bowl of water for our two Pugs. I monitored their drinking that day and it seemed to be lighter than usual. I tried it for a few more days and their drinking continued to be lighter than usual. So I stopped putting it in their water because it seems like they can taste it and aren’t too crazy about it. I donât think we used it long enough for it to really make a difference because I wanted to make sure they were drinking enough water.

Noticeable difference ð¾ð¶
I am so happy that I ordered the Pupford water additive. My dog is older with a few health issues that has made his oral hygiene worse over time. I’ve tried a few other water additives, with limited success in making his breath not want to knock me over. Unfortunately, my boy is not stable enough to undergo anesthesia to have teeth cleaning. This product has been successful at making his breath more tolerable.I received this about 2 weeks ago and have been adding to his water daily. I wash the bowl and refresh the water and add the Pupford additive. My dog did not react in anyway to having the additive in the bowl, and he drinks his water as normal. The addition of the syringe makes it super easy to ensure you’re putting the proper amount in the bowl each time. I’ve used this daily in two bowls for just about 2 weeks and it is just now below the top portion of the label. Due to this being a higher priced product/water additive, I was concerned about how quickly I would get through the bottle. I was hesitant to oder due to the cost, but the hope of it working better than the others outweighed the cost.The first week of using it I noticed a decrease in his bad breath. Now I have noticed a significant decline in his breath and his teeth look cleaner and more white as well. I will say, I don’t know exactly how this works or what this did, but I also discovered what can only be described as slime in his water bowl 2 days ago. I reset the bowl, but I’m fairly positive this cleared up some goop in his mouth. Ever since, his breath has been noticeable less potent.The product label or information on thr Amazon page didn’t say anything about safety for cats and primarily focused on dogs use. I did add it to the cats water bowl as well, since I have a 20 year old cat. The cat did notice the additive, but this did not prevent them from drinking the water. I’m hopeful this will also help the cats breath and oral hygiene as well. I have not noticed any adverse effects from adding to the cats bowl thus far.I would just note that it would be helpful to add the safety information regarding other pets beyond dogs with this product, for those of us with multiple pet households. Other than that, hands down will continue to use this product. It has been the most successful water additive I’ve tried. And after doing research on the company, I feel comfortable with their products.

Use It As Directed and You’ll Smell Results
I was very skeptical about this product for my dog but after she had her teeth cleaning I wanted to maintain her good breath. So far it’s been working as she doesn’t have her normal bad breath. I just ordered some wipes to use with her at home teeth cleaning in between her vet sessions and I’m hoping to keep her mouth extra clean and to continue smelling good. It is pricey though so I did remove a star.
