Dog Jacket
Needed a jacket for dog again this winter as he likes to tear them up before the cold is over. I ordered the largest available and it fit a little small, my dog is a 100lbs dobie. It covers the neck and chest area and the long of the back, but the belly is still exposed. This jacket will serve him for a bit, but I don’t see it lasting all winter.

We bought dog coats for all of our immediate neighbors dogs, about 7. And every single one was great! This one is amazing in every way except one. Iâd have preferred that there was just a little more length in the arms like most of the others. But itâs beautifully made, and really warm. Especially around the neck area, itâs really nice.

Sizing is off – particularly at the neck.
The sizing on this seems way off. The XXL fits my 25(ish)lb Whippet okay. The neck is very small in relation to the body and has no flexibility at all. I think this would be better with a stretchy collar or at least having the ability to unzip it would make it so much easier to put on. The elastic to attach the coat to the rear legs is very thin, which may be more comfortable but I don’t expect it to last long. To use the leg straps, the legs need to be inserted first, then slide the head through the collar. Once that feat is accomplished, the chest flap is very easy to wrap around and secure on the top. This may be a more difficult task for me because my girl is at least 15 with arthritis in her legs, so the maneuvers were painful for her. She likes it once it’s on, though. It is comfortable for her to go about her typical activities and doesn’t seem to hinder any of them â including potty, so that’s definitely a win. I like the materials used and the workmanship seems to be great. It is more a design flaw that is my complaint. Due to that, I’m just âmehâ about this coat and its cost.

Interesting design, but impractical.
I measured my Pit Bull and decided to order a size up. The 5XL fit her around the neck, but itâs tight. It shouldâve been a little big if going by the size chartâso size up!The jacket is really bunchy when she lays down or moves around. It gets twisted easily. The front of the jacket is narrow, and it doesnât cover very well. It lets a lot of snow in under the jacket.Overall the coat is good quality. It may work better on a thinner, less active dog.

Super cute & well made; had some issues figuring out sizing
This is a very well made dog jacket, but there are definitely issues with sizing. As for the construction, it’s super well made. The insulated inner lining is great and the fur lined neck is adorable and cozy. It’s incredibly easy to put on – just pop the neck hole over the head and the bottom flap goes up and under the chest to attach with velcro across the back. Even nervous dogs would be fine with this, I think.The problem I had was with the sizing. The listing shows two different size charts. I measured my dog’s neck at 15″ and chest at 25″. One size chart said an XL would fit 18.1″/20.8″-25.6″ and the size chart further down in the listing said an XL would fit 13.7″/20.8″-25.6″. Since he measured 15″ in the neck, I figured this would be fine, but it’s definitely a tight squeeze. I would have for sure ordered up if I had known to go with the smaller size chart. It’s also really short lengthwise and only covers about 2/3 of his back. Hopefully they be more clear on the sizing in the future. I do love the jacket: I would say order up if you are right between sizes.

I ordered the 5x for our one year old great Dane who’s 115lbs. We don’t have super cold winters but we wanted something the could keep him warm when he’s outside. I love how easy this is to put on. Just slip it over his head and Velcro the sides up. I think it’s super cust and stylish. He doesn’t mind when we put it on him so I have to think it keeps him warm. It doesn’t have any stretch to it at all so please keep that in mind when ordering.
