It works!
Obviously cats are not a fan of teeth brushing, but after my first boy had only a few teeth left in his old age, and after noticing some stains on my two year old babies teeth, I figured i should start incorporating teeth brushing into their grooming routine. So far, with this toothpaste, it has gone well! I of course have to burrito them into a towel to keep them in place, but they actually enjoy the flavor, and I have already noticed the stains begin to fade after a month of weekly use! On top of that, I notice less of that stinky fish breath that cats often have. Overall a solid product and would reccomend for keeping your furbabies pearly whites clean and healthy!

Best toothpaste I have used
First off, let me qualify that I am a dentist and brush my dog’s teeth every day. I have tried two other pastes both vet approved and neither cleaned as well as this. On a scale from 1 -5 my dog tells me the taste is a 3! He loved the taste of the Petrodex so taste-wise he gave it a 5 but it did not clean as well I also used Virbac and the taste was a 3. I tried making my own toothpaste( to save money) with baking soda and coconut oil and the taste was a 0! The Petsmile is a bit pricey but remember a clean mouth is a happy mouth and it beats paying the vet $1000 for a cleaning……My office only gets $ 200! I am in the wrong business!i will continue to use this paste for the efficacy and average taste!

Really works well
Have gone through 2 tubes and my dog’s teeth are noticeably cleaner. My vet recommended an enzyme cleaner and this has worked better than the toothpaste I had been using. Will continue to use this product.

My dog loves it!
My Sheltie had heavy tartar built up on her canines. Once I removed that we use this once a day and her teeth are great. Sheâs 9 years old and her teeth look years younger. No bad breath either. After we brush she loves to lick it off the brush so it must be pretty tasty! Sheâs actually looks forward to it!

Works on plaque and stains, smell is off-putting.
The product works and my dogâs oral health has improved slowly but surely, but the Beef Broil flavor also leaves a bad smell in my dogâs mouth. So it improves oral health overall, but makes her breath worse. I would recommend getting a different flavor.

This toothpaste really works! My dogâs breed tends to have tooth problems and when I realized that she was getting a build up of black tartar on her teeth, it was time to do something. For the last three weeks, I have brushed her teeth daily and the black on her teeth has been steadily going away. This isnât a quick fix but itâs really helping! Iâll also say that my dog loves the taste and it doesnât have a strong smell, so Iâm thrilled to have found something that actually worked and that my dog enjoys. Finally, while itâs expensive, I can see the value as I have hardly made a dent in the bottle after nearly a month. I will be buying it again!

My dog loves this toothpaste, Its the only one approved by the VOHC (so its proven to work)! The ingredients are clean, it taste (i think) great, and the biggest factor is it does not upset my dogs sensitive stomach! We were using an enzymatic one the vet recommended (beginning with Lâ¦..) and my dog had softer stools, and his breath smelt no different. Since switching his breath has improved with just brushing alone, his stools have firmed up and he seems to enjoy it more! Itâs easy to use on a trained dog, itâs definitely effective, and its regular toothpaste size. I will be buying the other flavour and their toothbrush as well to see if there is a difference!

This toothpaste actually works. If your dog doesn’t allow brushing, you can just put some on its teeth and let the paste work on its own. It takes longer but it will work. My dog lets me brush his teeth so his tartar and stains are visibly less and I started about a month ago with this product. I don’t think it tastes like the flavour on the tube because it doesn’t smell like I would expect that flavour to smell but it’s not unpleasant and my dog likes it. There are also no harmful additives in the paste. I like that. It is a bit pricey but it’s the only tooth paste I’ve ever used that works.
