Perfect for a Newborn Kitten!
We recently found a tiny two-week-old kitten outdoors, and it was clear she needed extra comfort and warmth. The HuggieKitty Cuddly Cat Toy has been an absolute lifesaver! From the moment we introduced it to him, he immediately seemed drawn to the soft material and the gentle, comforting sound it makes. Itâs like the purring sound mimics that of her mother, which seemed to calm him down for his nappping.Heâs been snuggling with it at every nap and even uses it as a little pillow, a tunnel, or cuddling up in the legs. Itâs amazing how much it helps him feel safe and secure. The toy is also soft and gentle, seems well-made, and durable.Itâs been a huge comfort to our little fur baby during his early weeks and helped him through his recovery. If youâve found a kitten or are caring for one, definitely give this a try!

Really cute and she loves it!
The heartbeat is a little weird but the purring isn’t bad but if I wanted to take it out it’s easy and not attached to anything. I love that the whole thing is machine washable once you take out the heating pad and sound machine. My cat loves it and is always playing and cuddling with it! She found it really weird at first and stayed away from it the first few days but then I found her cuddling up to it for warmth one night and she looked so comfy and happy. 🙂 Pretty good for the price! It’s slightly bigger than her and I think she likes that but overall pretty much the same size. She grooms it sometimes and it’s so cute so it’s pretty durable considering she licks and bites it while playing sometimes. She’s a happy kitty 🙂

Battery pack drama
Nice concept. Seems pretty durable. My cat at least kinda likes it. The battery pack almost requires lock-pic tools to get it open though. Someone suggested throwing away the screw once it is out far enough to open because it is not necessary. BUT! They have wrapped it in a plastic sleeve so it can’t be fully removed. Now it just sticks out part way. Once stuffed inside the toy it should be safe enough. The sound quality is not very good, It’s just a few seconds of an actual recording stuck on loop. That’s fine, but when the loop restarts every 3-4 seconds it makes a weird clicking sound that does not sound like a healthy cat. I was able to muffle the volume by playing around with the placement of the heat pack and “heart” pack inside the kitty toy. Uses up batteries pretty quickly. The heat pack seems to work fine as long as you heat it SLOWLY! My kitty is learning to like it with just the heat pack. In general this requires a good deal of tweaking for the money. Try it if you are desperate (I was), but I wouldn’t buy it on a whim. Oh, and the Velcro is very tough and noisy to open. Your cat may shred everything else, but that Velcro isn’t going anywhere, LOL!

Great for foster kitten
It works great for my 4 week old foster kitten. The only thing I don’t like is the batteries do not last more than a day before the cat starts making some weird ticking noise along with the purring and heartbeat sound. I just replaced the batteries yesterday morning and it’s already making that same ticking noise so I’ll have to replace them again the very next morning. It’s worth the money in the sense that the kitten seems calmer next to it, but when it comes to batteries being eaten on the daily…I do recommend this but keep in mind you’ll be buying batteries like crazy to keep it going!Otherwise the toy is super soft and a nice size for my foster kitten to cuddle next to. ð

Will not “unscrew” once batteries are in
I have had this for 2 years almost. It was working well, but this time is kept giving “half a purr” and stopping. I Thought it might be the battery. So I went to go and change the batteries by unscrewing the back. But the screw won’t come out and it keeps clicking as if part of the plastic or some other mechanism inside is broken so the screw will not come out. The batteries cannot be changed. This product is basically dead. After 2 years which? It’s silly to me if you’re supposed to be able to change the batteries. Now I have a $30 plushy, but that’s all, no purring which is what we purchased it for.

This has soothed my foster baby so much.
My foster baby is all alone and I could tell she was lonely. She used to cry when you had to put her to bed. Since I got the doll she sleeps with it all the time and loves it so much. She rarely cries. Itâs soft, itâs bigger like a mama kitty, and the sounds are life like and the heat pack works wonders. Thanks for a great product that really helped Pip Squeak!

Broken right out of the box ⦠UPDATE
Update! I took a chance and got a replacement. Found out that the original one I was sent was someone elseâs reject. My replacement was brand new, in a sealed box. I thought I would have a problem with the battery pack again but was finally able to open it. Loaded it up with the battery box and the heat pack. My cat was curious about his new companion. But he thought the kitty that was purring was under the HuggieKitty and was trying to find it by digging underneath the kitty. Finally he settled down and perched himself next to HuggieKitty, both of them purring away. I think this item is a great idea with poor execution. It is not odor free. The heat pack reeks! The material used for the body is cheaply made. The battery box is poorly designed with that weird screw you donât actually need. The recording of the purr is fine but the heartbeat is a mass of static. It is cute, though, and my cat has shown some interest in it. Looks good in the cat bed that my real cat refuses to sleep in. So i guess Iâll keep it and see how it goes.I was excited to get this for my cat. But right out of the box it was broken. Couldnât get the screw out of the battery box so I could open it and add batteries. It just spins in place. Sending it back.

Received in excellant condition. Very beautifully made, excellant quality. Made to last. Comes exactly as pictured and described. Heat pack is very well made. My only complaint is that the heart battery pack has 1 striped screw out of 3. The striped screw has been removed. Sound is great, there is a choice of snoring or heartbeat. Well worth the price. Thank Amazon

In the difficult final days with my sick cat, I was looking for something to bring her comfort and came across this HuggieKitty. As she lost weight and became more sick, she became more susceptible to feeling cold and because she couldn’t cuddle with her brothers as she normally would, this companion kept her warm and provided the comfort she needed. The simulated purring and heartbeat sound worked like magic, soothing her and helping her fall asleep. This was really helpful during a difficult time â¤
