    Petpost works great!!
I tried different methods to try and remove my beautiful Bichon’s (unsightly) tear stains and nothing really seemed to work well. I found an ad for Petpost and since the product itself is inexpensive, I decided to order it via Amazon. Honestly, I did not have high expectations for the product to work but was going to try it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the company before I got the product with “how to” instructions. The product sat under my sink for a couple of months before I remembered that I bought it. I FINALLY followed the simple directions and used it as instructed. Honestly, I noticed a slight difference right away with the removal of the “gunk” and the stain lightened as the days went by. Within the first 10 days, you could hardly tell the stains were there. I now use it a couple of times a week versus everyday for maintenance. My Bichon is high maintenance and a big baby so it took me a few extra minutes on each eye in the beginning. Make sure the cotton is saturated and go over the stain many times like instructed for a couple of minutes. I do love that it is natural ingredients and was a big reason I bought it but be careful not to get any in the eyes. I took a clean piece of cotton and wiped the eyes after each time. For the people who posted that it doesn’t work, I cannot help but wonder if it was done incorrectly or not long enough. It does take some patience especially if the tear staining is bad like my Bichon’s was. I would give it another try. This is truly a great tear stain remover. My only regret was not starting the product sooner!

    Eye cleaner for dogs
Unfortunately it doesn’t work very well. It does remove the gunk that sticks to their fur, however it did not remove the stain

    Needs Patience
Does it work? Yes. Do you Start seeing difference immediately? No.This solution does work. I have tried it with my 7 months old Maltese, who used to suffer from stains around her eyes. In the beginning when I first used it, it made things look even worse, as it spread the discoloration around her eyes, keeping a reddish shade on her white coat. Moreover, some hairballs started to appear in that area, which made me feel I’ve done something wrong, or the solution I bought is just bad. However, 3 weeks later of regular use, I started really seeing a huge difference.I believe that this solution dissolves the discoloration gradually, by spreading it until it completely fades. The hairballs issue can simply be avoided by brushing the area really well directly after applying the solution, and letting it dry. After 3 weeks of daily use you should start really seeing a difference. The solution can be then be used less frequently for maintenance only. Great product. Highly recommended.

Did Not Work – Do Not Buy Because You Won’t Get Your Money Back
I wish I could be more positive but I gave this a 1 star because I saw no improvement in my Shih Tzu’s tear stains even after his hair cut. I tried to give Petpost! Tear Stain Remover enough time to see if it would make a difference and when I saw that nothing was happening and wanted to return it, I find out that there is no 100% guarantee I’d get my money back because they closed the window for return one month later. No where in their product description or anywhere else does it say you only have 30 days to return the item to get your money back if you don’t like it or it doesn’t work so now I’m out $18.97 for something that did nothing.

    This stuff really works!
This stuff works! I have a black and white shih tzu, Lou, who has a white muzzle (or should be white, but was stained brown from drooling). For 2 months I tried another well known product that requires putting a powder on the food or in a treat with very little to no whitening.I used PetPost tear stain remover once a day for one week and saw a dramatic whitening of his muzzle. He has a black mask so there’s no staining there, but he does have goopy eyes. I used it on his eyes as well and it really helped clear the thick discharge.I’m now using PetPost once or twice a week. I just squirt some liberally on a cosmetic pad and rub it well into his fur down to the skin. Lou had no problem with the taste and no stinging of his eyes. I’m an EXTREMELY satisfied customer!

she has some pretty bad tear stains
I have a little 10lb miniature aussie and Coton Tulear mix puppy, she has some pretty bad tear stains. I followed the instruction Petpost sent, using cotton ball soaked with the solution and rub her tear stained hair for at least 2 minutes every day, I did it for over 2 months, still no change in reducing or removing the tear stain. So we took her to a groomer to trimmed stained hair, but after a couple weeks, new tear stains started to develop again around her eyes, we’ve been keeping up with her face cleaning during this time too, but using this product did not seem to prevent/help/reduce the staining at all;TThe only good thing about it was that our puppy’s eyes were not irritated, we still have some solution left in the bottle, will use it up but definitely won’t purchase again.

    Don’t Hesitate Just Try It!
This stuff is great! I have tried other tear removers and this one is gentle yet effective and my pups fur around her eyes is looking cleaner everyday. It easily de-crusted gunk and buildup from her watery eyes (which tends to build up quickly) and it leaves fur around the area looking good as new (once it dries of course). I have been using for about a week now and already see a difference. I use daily for now and plan to follow instructions for weekly use after her stained fur has grown out a bit more. The seller is very responsive and it is a family owned business as well which provided me with a wonderful customer service experience and thorough information on how to use the product.
