Smells divine
This shampoo lathers well and rinses out easily, leaving my petâs coat feeling soft and clean. The scent is light and doesnât linger too long, which I prefer. It didnât cause any irritation, and the formula seems gentle enough for regular use. The consistency is smooth, not too thick or watery, making it easy to apply. So far, itâs been a good option for keeping my petâs fur fresh and manageable.

Does the job
This works well, does a good job cleaning your pet. I really don’t know enough about different shampoos to say whether this one rates above another one in its effectiveness… I actually think it’s probably a lot about the washer doing a good job, using enough soap, and making sure the dog/cat, whatever gets clean! My son washed our golden doodle with this–I groom the dog myself and he has to be washed first, and this made his fur nice and clean and soft so the grooming job was smooth.

Made in Israel..you won’t know that until you get the bottle, but good product.
Made in Israel..you won’t know that until you get the bottle, but good product. I always find it highly suspicious when Country Of Origin, is left blank, and only a “USA sounding” name is provided… the country of origin should be made clear, at least down in the Product Details section, where no one ever looks, except those that really want to know. Otherwise, this is a good product and it’s just the kind of dog shampoo I look for… a good quality, high end shampoo, that has good clean ingredients and no artificial colors or chemicals, and I want something that’s going to be gentle and healthy for the skin, but at the same time will work on getting any dirt off the dog… which is often times more about finger and hand work, and massaging the soap around adequately and all. And hypoallergenic, is another key characteristic I look for, and with the Dead Sea Minerals contained within this mix, you have that aspect as well here. Great product.Directions say it’s best to wash dog 2 x week, which I won’t ever say don’t read the directions or follow the instructions, but I know I, personally, will do no such thing. I’ve long known to wash a dog as sparingly as possible…. it all started when I had a Boxer mix, and learned that Boxers especially, shouldn’t be bathed much, because it will take away their natural oils that are present in the skin… this natural skin oil, is an important factor in fur and skin health, and it’s vital not to wash it away except when absolutely necessary, from what I understand… which I took that to mean I’d wash my dog about once every 6 months. However, since learning that, I’ve heard more than a few other wise vets, advise the same thing… and they all said that no dog, not just Boxers, should be bathed on a regular basis, because the important natural oils get washed away… it’s best instead, to brush your dog regularly, with long brush strokes, in the direction of the hair…. brushing helps to spread and disperse this vital skin oil, and distributes it evenly throughout.Dog shampoo companies might take exception to this, but I know what I know and I’m sure not going to go against my better judgment and common sense, no matter what. Suggesting washing a dog twice a week, is a rather amazing thing to hear actually, it’s enough to make one wonder if a dog’s skin health, is the least of their concern. I don’t know. And I don’t care what’s in the shampoo, or how gentle it is, 2 x a week bathing, is not going to be beneficial for the dog, in any regard…. is how I see it.

works well, but too strong scent
This shampoo suds up well and left my dog clean, but the scent was very strong. She typically bathes well, but a couple of times she tried to get out of the tub. I think the scent was too strong for her sensitive nose; it was a bit overpowering for me. It’s not a bad smell and she smelled good later, but when in use it is too much. I will likely hold on to this for baths when she rolls in something stinky, but not use it for her regular baths.

Great shampoo for a clean and fresh puppy
I got this shampoo for our puppy, and it works great. It smells really nice and leaves him feeling clean without being too strong. The fragrance lasts for a couple of days, which is a nice bonus. Some reviews mentioned it might not lather as much as expected, but I didnât have any issues with that. It cleans well and seems to be gentle on his skin.So far, so good. Iâll update my review if anything changes, but for now, weâre really happy with how it works.

Excellent Shampoo for Dogs
I always bathe my dogs in a shampoo that states they are free of sulfates, artificial fragrances and other chemicals. My dogs are very small so I bathe them more frequently than I would like to because they are so low to the ground. I saw this PETEX dog shampoo and thought I would give it a try. The shampoo has a nice mild smell that is not overpowering. It also left my dogâs fur feeling soft and shiny looking. Really good shampoo if you are looking for something with minimal ingredients.
