Great tether
I bought these because my dog kept chewing through the nylon straps on the car. They work great. They are steel cables that are coated with vinyl. I’ve been using these for a week and they are holding up just fine. Very easy to use .on one there is a insert for the seat belt. On the other is a metal clasp for her harness. Great value for the money. Would definitely recommend ð

Working well
We haven’t had this long, but it’s already lasted longer than the fabric car leash we had before. Like that there is both a seatbelt clip and a regular one so we have options. Keeps our younger dog from pestering our old lady dog and keeps him from launching himself into the front seat!

Great alternative to cloth seat belt tethers
I purchased this cable seat belt tether after my new adoptee dog chewed the first cloth tether I bought. This cable tether worked well attached to his harness for car rides. You never attach a tether in a vehicle to your dog collar. It provided him room to maneuver but kept him on the seat. Unfortunately he used to twist it around himself and as smart as he can be, he couldn’t figure out how to untwist himself, but that’s not the fault of this product. If he was still a chewer, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Great for tough chewers
I was going through seatbelts like water until I bought this. Not only did it save me from having to keep a back stock of seatbelts, but since my pup realizes he can not chew through it, he is settling better in the car. This is a must have for super chewers! On the down side, it is not adjustable, so ordering the right length is very important for safety reasons.

Safe, simple and durable.
I love these car tethers. I have a cocker spaniel that desperately tries to be in your lap at all times and a Siberian husky that loves to see out ALL of the windows and likes to move back and forth. I’ve tried to seat belt them in using various methods but they always seem to get out of them or get tangled. These tethers are long enough to let them stand/sit/lay down/turn around but short enough they can’t get tangled with themselves or each other. And they are very resistant to chewing, my cocker spaniel has tried and failed.

Unchewable and UV proof
I had a fabric seat tether, but after 6 or 7 months of being hooked in the back seat of an enclosed SUV, it fell apart…..this cable will solve that problem. Plus being chew resistant is a bonus too!

Indispensable if your dog enthusiastically attempts to bolt when you open the car door!
I love this little tether for my escape artist rescue dog who has come to accept it’s imposed limits just fine. Metal tab easily and satisfyingly clicks into the seat belt fastener thingy (instead of the seat belt), with the other end attached to the dog’s HARNESS. (I have and highly recommend the https://smile.amazon.com/No-Escape-Dog-Harness-Reflective/dp/B0B2JSCDVZ?ref_=ast_sto_dp harness! I give five stars to both of these items. Great together.) I wouldn’t recommend clipping the tether to the dog’s COLLAR, as a sudden emergency stop might do damage to the dog’s trachea or larynx, etc. AUGH!!! But not to worry. He’ll be held happily and securely in place while in transit, with comfortably limited range of movement, can still stick his head out the window to sniff the breeze, and he won’t be able to exit the vehicle’s doors (or windows) until YOU press the seat belt release button. Also good for securing the dog in place when briefly left alone in the car with windows sufficiently lowered to let the fresh air in. Won’t attempt an escape while you load up your groceries, etc.

Great product, perfect for keeping the doggies tethered in the back and I love the option to use with the seatbelt in case they’re riding in the backseat. Depending on the size of your vehicle I would recommend the slightly shorter one.
