Worked for my 4 yr old Great Dane…
This is my second bottle and I have to agree with another comment/review that you need to give your pet the entire bottle before you see results. They will not happen overnight.I have a Great Dane who is 4 years old and within the past year, he started to get these little bumps along his back. They looked like small pimples or pustules and when touched or squeezed, would ooze blood and/or pus. They seem to be painful when touched and the vet said it was likely being caused from a food allergy. Without wanting to pay for hundreds of dollars of tests, it was suggested we switch foods and introduce supplements such as fish oil. We tried every kind of food that offered different meats or fish – Salmon, Lamb, Chicken, Beef, no grain, no corn, etc…There was absolutely no change – in fact, even more bumps started to appear that were bigger than we saw previously. It got to the point where his entire back was covered when before the bumps were mainly near his hips.I decided to order this skin tonic based on other reviews. Like I said, this is my second bottle and his back looks A LOT better than it ever has! Most of the bumps have disappeared and what remains are small scabs and tiny batches were there was hair loss due to the larger bumps that formed. He is still eating salmon and chicken (first ingredient) dry dog food and if a food allergy was not causing the bumps, I can’t be sure what was. Based on my research of his skin, the breed of dog and what the vet told me, it’s really just a big mystery. My dog never acted like his back itched or that the bumps bothered him, unless you started to mess with them and “relieve” the pus from the larger pustules.I will continue to use and recommend this product as I did see change about 3/4 through the first bottle. It may not work for every dog but this has been the only thing that has helped my Great Dane. Best of luck to other doggy owners out there looking for skin relief!FYI – The capsules are large and not really chewable so I bought pill pockets to use to give the skin tonic to my dog. Worked like a charm! He gobbles them down every morning with no issue 🙂

Staying neutral for now
I’ve only been giving this to my Maltese for a couple of weeks now, but the jury is still out on this one. I check his coat everyday and thus far have seen no improvement. But, that doesn’t mean I’m giving up. I have enough capsules to go the full 60 days and since I have no plan B, I will continue to use it and pray I will see some positive results. Since he is 8 lbs I have to give him 1 capsule per day which means I had to open the capsule and give 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening. It was very tricky opening them at first, but I’ve gotten the hang of it and it’s no problem now.

Finally something must be working!
After a year of changing my rescue dog’s diet, trying different grooming products and basically supplementing with enzymes, probiotics, fish oil, coconut oil, and green supplements and green supplements. She was still getting pimples or bites on her skin.About three quarters through the bottle of Pet Alive Skin and Coat, her skin is just about clear and she is not scratching. I mix half a cap 2x a day. I will try another bottle and see if her skin problems are under control. Although I can’t be sure this is the magic formula, this is the last supplement I added and she looks pretty good.

Really helped!
My 10 year old Black Lab was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. One of the symptoms was that he lost A LOT of hair. I put him on Vetoryl and also gave him Pet Alive Cushex Drops and their Hair & Skin Tonic. He’s like a new dog and grew all his hair back thick and black. I believe Pet Alive Hair & Skin Tonic really helped.
