Works great for my elderly cat
My cat is 20 years old and spends most of her time sleeping. The lack of movement has increased her constipation so I was looking for something to help. I came across the PetWellbeing Smooth BM Gold for cats and decided to give it a try. I mix it in her with cat bisque every evening. Works so well, I have had this on subscribe and save for over a year. Thank you, I love my elderly baby so much.

Dripper is Awful
The dripper is awful. Hard to administer orally as the dripper does not hold the liquid and it leaks when moving from bottle to mouth. Messy.

Tragic Waste of Money
My cat has been battling constipation for quite a long time and I tried natural pumpkin (which she ate an entire can of over a few days) before I purchased Smooth BM Gold. I had high hopes for the medicine and she wasn’t even suspicious of her wet food (which I always dilute with water, so the medication was easy to add). She ate it and had no issues (other than the fact she was still constipated). When she did have a BM, it was like concrete, which was the problem in the first place. I continued the medicine for a full two weeks, and I even increased her dose. I felt that was more than enough time for it to work if it was going to. It did nothing. I finally got her a vet consult and I did more extensive research that resulted in opting for Miralex. (Yes, the kind people take.) Based on her weight, I gave her 1/4 t. of Miralex in her wet watered-down food once a day, and after just two treatments of Miralex, success! She has now been taking Miralex and has been having healthy BMs ever since. **Note: My cat is elderly and diabetic (she’s on insulin), so I don’t know if those details factor into the ineffectiveness of this product, or if it’s just a sham. She’s a picky eater but readily ate her food with BM Gold in it. I’ve seen reviews where cats have foamed at the mouth after eating the medicine and that did NOT happen to my cat. It simply did nothing to help her bowels and that’s frustrating. Had it worked, I’d have been a customer for life. Miralex is a much more cost-effective solution that has saved my cat’s life.

She wasn’t making #2 as frequently and then if she did, the stools (barely anything) were hard and very dark. She was vocalizing in the litter box. Not good. It arrived at lunch time in the mail. I followed the instructions and administered the first dose. I did a second dose at dinner time, around 6PM. I put it in her favorite soft wet food and she ate normally.Two hours later, she was in the litter box, going normally, leaving a large amount of #2 that had the perfect consistency and color. (You can tell by looking). She did not vocalize, she went immediately.This product is expensive for many of us, myself included. My senior male cat was extremely constipated and had decided to stop using he litter box because of the pain on passing dry stools. I’ve used lactulose prescribed from the vets, which worked like a treat, but they wouldn’t prescribe another bottle without me bringing my cat back to see them. So I decided to take a chance on this little bottle of liquid gold. Honestly it works so well that he goes regularly now, inside the litter box and his stools are large and soft. He has a skip in his step again and eating all his food. What more could a cat owner wish for ?

So your cat maybe a problem eater and find it hard to give the drops oraly to them this tip can also just help with how they eat wet food if there picky or cans of wet food dont stay fresh long enough . I got a cheap handhelp blender a big plasic cup to blend in and 3 small mason jars to hold the blended food with maybe 100 mills of water to puree the food. Then freeze 2 of the jars to keep fresh and the other 1 in the fridge. I use to give him those sqeeze treat till they gave him blater issue . Be careful of those things. but now he thinks the wet food i pureed is a treat now cause they have same consistencies. well thats likely more cause i say you want a treat when i give it to him haha. I felt so bad when i had to stop givung him treats and change his food. So u found a way to keep my little guy happy.. anyways hope this helps . So how I apply the drops is take a teaspoon of the refrigerated. Food we just made mixed four drops and I do that twice a day do not mix in the jarred food it will coagulate the food that’s rendering it no good and will upset your cat’s stomach I learn this the hard way. So learn from my one mistake luckly. May also just have been because it was his first time taking the supplement. So maybe start small with one drop to two drops and work your way up to four twice a day depending on the size of your animal or breed read the instructions for your specific animal size this is for 13 lb tabby
