Helps with fast eating med/ large dogs breed
I have 2 large breeds that wolf down their food. These bowls work perfectly. In fact I bought 2, though the one I bought 5 years ago have very minimal wear and tear, just for a color change.They clean up nicely after every meal and we found out we were feeding the puppy too much because he was eating slow enough to get full and to stop. Now he is the perfect hourglass shape to his withers. I have mine of raised wooden bases and have no problem with slipping. But I do clean the bowl after every meal, while they are outside using the bathroom -because we add vegetables and raw eggs/ meat sometimes.Great value! Highly recommend

I got these bowls for our lab puppies, one of whom was eating her meals so quickly that she sometimes got sick afterwards. The first time we fed the pups out of these bowls, they were clearly confused about what to do. Dinner went from 1-2 minutes in regular bowls to 20 minutes with these, and it was great to watch them figure out how to eat out of the new puzzle bowls.Theyâve had them for a few months and experience has definitely cut down on the time it takesâabout 4-5 minutes nowâbut itâs still much better than before. We havenât had any throw ups after meals since using these.They seem pretty sturdy, and the girls havenât chewed through them or anything. I wouldnât say theyâre slip resistant, though. They get pushed around the hard floor of our kitchen quite a bit while the pups are eating.Overall, I would recommend them for dogs who eat too quickly and need to slow down a bit.

The bowl did exactly what it was suppose to do. My dog slowed down as he ate and I had no issues for approx.45 days. Then it became clear this was not going to work. This damage happen in a day and the dog did swallow some of the plastic chards, very sharp chards of plastic. So far I believe he is fine he puked the plastic out and the last two days his behavior is normal. Consider you animal prior to purchase, The bread and his chewing habits. If you do purchase this, it is not a leave it bowl. As soon as you animal finish remove the bowl from its access
