Great for Joint Health
These chews are great for supporting hip and joint health in dogs. They are vet-formulated and my dog loves them. A great supplement for maintaining mobility and comfort.

Sourcing?
From the title of this, this is my biggest overall worry of this product.Once received, I opened the package of these to give some to my dogs, and the smell of them was kind of off-putting, but that’s to be expected with these. My dogs on the other hand LOVED them, but I was wary at first of giving it to them. I personally did some research about these and like the other reviews have said, there is no sourcing information whatsoever about the ingredients.Now, I’m not a vet by any means, but from what I read, it’s safe for dogs to have these, but it’s still not good to have dogs eat something that is not sourced correctly.For my dogs joint issues, well these seem to not do that much overall like other joint chews I have gave them. There energy level was decreased a little, which made me not give them anymore of these and get other joint chews that we knew were sourced correctly and worked with quality ingredients.

These treats are great for my husky. She had mild joint issues and Iâve been giving these to her often with good results. She likes the taste and they smell nice, too.

Labrador Approved Ship and Joint Treats
I have an 8 year old Labrador who has seemed a little less active lately. She gets walks every day and seems a little more worn out than before. These treats have a pretty strong smell. I didn’t care for it but it must have tasted good to a dog because she gobbles them up. They seem like decent quality ingredients and the size is nice for a treat. We’ve gone through the whole bag and I don’t know that these were effective in increasing her mobility. These are a bit on the pricey side but they are from a good company.

I can usually bribe my dog into taking his joint supplements but there was no way I could get him to eat these.

They smell! But the dog seems to like them
Our older pup is really picky and will refuse to eat things if they don’t smell quite right.These chews seem to be ok. She will refuse at first, but then reconsider and eat them and ask for more. So I am not sure what to make of that.I really like that they have glucosamine, Boswellia, turmeric, and MSM, all things her canine orthopedic specialist has recommended. And I like that there are 120 chews in the bag.The brand is reputable and has been around for a while so I do trust them. But the chews have quite a strong odor to them.

I will preface this review by saying that I’ve been working with animals and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have four small breed dogs but have owned large breed dogs and other animals for years.This product is advertised as a hip and joint supplement for dogs. It contains quite a few ingredients that have been shown to help with joint and cartilage such as glucosamine and green lipped mussel. There is nowhere on their website where you can find the sourcing of any of these ingredients, however. It is manufactured in the US, but they don’t post where they actually source the ingredients from. Three of my four dogs are willing to eat these. The fourth dog didn’t even like it crumbled up in his food and tried to pick it out of the food. They do have some questionable ingredients such as sugar, soybean oil, and cane molasses and I assume these are in the item to make it more palatable to most dogs. Supplements are not regulated so as with most of them, it is a ‘try it and see’ type situation. I have one older dog and will let him use these and see if there is an improvement. This is a reputable company that has been in business for a long time. Each dog is unique so start slow and see how yours responds and if they help or not. I have small dogs so this size bag should last mine awhile and be fairly economical. A large dogs would be pretty costly.
