Rescued 2, 8 weeks old Texas Heeler Sister’s dogs during 2020 COVID time. One puppy had coarse fur, dry skin, and would scratch all her fur she could reach on both sides off. Was afraid she would develop sores. Started giving both sisters these awesome Salmon oil supplements starting almost 4 years ago and both have soft dense coats. They love them like treats. Will be purchasing for my dogs forever. Was not solicited in anyway for my honest review. Proud Amazon Prime member since 2010.

I’ve given my dogs these for years because we live in a dry climate and they were itching badly. These have helped their skin issues and pretty much eliminated the itchy problem.

My dog doesn’t like these and she literally eats paper
I was using salmon oil to try to help my itchy dog but these were a good price and I thought I would be able to use them as treats for my dog so they’d be worth it. She’s over 65 pounds so the dosage is six a day, but she’s still a puppy and I’m still training her so I figured it would be no problem getting her to eat all six by combining them with training exercises.I was wrong. She spits them out. I have to coax her to eat them, or sneak them in with some cheese or peanut butter. She’s VERY food motivated and is also always trying to eat paper and other things she shouldn’t so I was really surprised when she rejected these. However, my cat eagerly snapped up the ones she spat out so maybe not a total waste of money? Won’t buy again.

My dogs went nuts for these. I’m not sure if it really helped with itchiness, coat shine, shedding, or how effective it is, but I ended up buying 2 more containers because my dogs go crazy for them! Good value and easy to use.
