My cat LOVES the taste!
This product works well on my guy but gives him the squirts from the Green Mussel. He LOVES the taste of them and will actually push my hand out of the way when I go to put them in his dish so he can get to them quicker. Definitely tasty rated #1 for him! They are not soft like the bag says. They are dry & crunchy on the inside. (Maybe just old or dried out?)Anyway, my guy is CHONKY. He is a big boy. Always has been because of his breed. He has to eat quite a few of these treats to get the full effects of the senior joint support so I can imagine if smaller cats eat these for joint support they wouldn’t get the runs because they wouldn’t have to have so much green mussel. (Very rich.) I did try decreasing to 1-2 treats a day to see if it could remedy itself by slowly introducing the green mussel, but no such luck.10/10 for joint mobility support and taste. My cat started moving around better within a few days.Definitely worth the price, quality and taste.

Definitely Helps my Old Man
I have an elderly chow chow who has severe arthritis in both his front and back legs. He has been on meds for years, but a recent rapid decline in his mobility had me desperate to try something…anything…else. We have no ground level exit to the yard, so a lot of days find him on the porch and unable to go down the steps to relieve himself. He refuses to use a ramp and hates harness systems. Obviously this made him very uncomfortable and resulted in quite a few accidents in the house.I thought I would try this product on the “what can it hurt” theory. I gave him his first dose on a Friday night, and the second the following morning. To my amazement, Saturday was the best day he has had in months. He was up and down the steps multiple times all on his own; at least four or five times. Sunday and Monday found him a little less spry, but still far better than he had been. Today he is much improved again; His floofy little face just LOOKS happier.. I never believed there could be an immediate effect, and I am excited to see how he does when he’s been on it for a few weeks. Now for the downside. My dog is a notorious pill spitter-outer. He doesn’t like anything and only has one or two treats he will eat. This is definitely not one of them. I have to place his regular meds in gelatin capsules and ball them up into various food stuffs, each of which only lasts for a week or two before I have to change it around again. If pill spitting was an Olympic sport, we’d have a roomful of gold medals. Anytime a medication promises that dogs love the taste, I laugh until I cry. I frequently wonder how a dog who eats kitty litter can be so finicky. He strongly dislikes the taste/smell (who really knows?) of this product, and surprisingly enough, my German Shepherd isn’t a fan, either. So far I have hidden these in wet dog food or tuna fish, but it’s a battle I don’t think I will be able to win much longer. I will continue inventing new ways to get him to eat these because THEY WORK. If you have a dog who gobbles up everything, no questions asked, these are truly awesome. If you have a picky dog, however, these may not be for him/her unless you are well-versed in hiding things they dislike in a tastier package.I still gave these an overall 5 star because THEY WORK and would be great for feeding to less finicky pups. For the rest of us, grab a hot dog or cheese slice…it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Well worth the effort, though.UPDATED 11/4/21: So good news and bad news. The good news is that the old man started to eat these now on his own, probably about 95% of the time. I just try, and if he won’t eat it, we’re done until the next pill time. But he just started eating them, without being wrapped in anything!! The bad news: the old shepherd who eats them without question has started to throw up after eating them. I changed a few things to make sure these were the problem, and they are. I would still recommend giving them a try; we’re on our second jar now.

They really work
I have an 8 year old kitty and I had been noticing a little hitch in her step. I’ve tried to give her joint health treats before but she’s pretty finicky and won’t eat them if she doesn’t like the taste and I didn’t want to put us both through the drama of drops. I decided to try these treats based off the reviews and I’m glad I did! She loves the taste and has never turned her nose up at them. She’s been taking them for about a month and I’ve noticed a big difference. She plays more, runs around the house and just seems happier overall. I really didn’t expect it to make that much of a difference but I’m very pleasantly surprised. Just ordered another bag today as I’m almost out of the first bag ( lasted almost exactly a month giving her the recommended amount for her weight). If you think you’ve tried everything and your cat won’t take any joint supplements give this one a try, even my finicky kitty loves them.

Works
Two months in and my senior kitty (19) does have more stability in his joints. It’s nice to see him have an easier time with the stairs. He’s still old but his quality of life is better. Also, I was worried that I’d have trouble getting him to eat them but he still thinks they’re an okay treat after 2 months.

cat likes them but takes too many to work
I was using glycoflex for my cats aging joints untol he stopped eating them for whatever reason. They worked well but I guess he got sick of them. I bought these and he eats them but the problem is he gets 1 per pound as per instructions so he gets 14 a day which quickly depletes the bag and these are not cheap so its more expensive than the glycoflex for less dosages… yeah he eats them but still… the other problem is from what I can tell the glycoflex worked better than these. He was a lot more mobile and loved climbing more on that than these. Since switching to these he also is a lot more careful and slower getting up and laying down and doesn’t like jumping up or down from high places anymore… So these are pricey for far less dosages, don’t work as well too…the only plus is he actually eats them.

She’s not climbing tree’s or catching any mice but she’s jumping up to the couch and the odd sprint down the hall after 1 bag of these. Before she’d walk up to where I was sitting and look at me to help her up. bit pricey for treats but not for the effects. Also they’re apparently better then temptations taste wise according to both cats.
