You pet will have a better winter I promise
These actually work . Our labs stay on enclosed porch and still gets chilly . They will lay together if one cuts off . So they def love. And I donât feel like there could be a fire . Itâs not overwhelming hot on the hottest setting

Not overly impressed
Small and very cheaply made.

Our cats love this!
Our cats love this! We have outdoor cats on our homestead but they stay in the garage during the winter. We put this in their cat house for them and they absolutely love it. It’s kept them plenty warm on super cold evenings and they don’t chew on the cord or mess with it. Doesn’t take up too much electricity, easy to turn on and off.

Only for Supervised Use!
I ordered this to use overnight in the outside dog house during the cold months. However, the 4th bullet point in the enclosed instructions states to “cut off power supply after use or when people leave to prevent fire.” The 9th Point for Attention further instructs that “when users go out or do not use heating pads, they should cut off the power supply of the electric heating pads or unplug the electric heating pads to prevent the hidden danger of fire accidents.” Well, now I’m definitely NOT going to use it as I had intended. Seller should have mentioned these restriction in the item description. Also… did anyone else notice that the first 9 product reviews are all dated November 8th, 2024, they are all for 5 stars, all contain few words, and none are a Verified Purchase? Hmm… looks suspicious to me!

The cat loves it.
I got this heating pad to place on the table next to my desk in my home office, to give my cat a warm place to lie down while I’m working. The cover on the pad is a slick vinyl type stuff, like a waterproof bed sheet. I didn’t think it would be super comfortable for him, so I lined it with an old t shirt at first, and later put a thin fleece blanket on top of it. It doesn’t really radiate the heat out – you wouldn’t know that it was turned on unless you let your hand rest on it for a minute. But the spot that the cat lies in is noticeably warm after a little while, and he enjoys it a lot.

Doesn’t work at all
This is the second pet heating pad I have purchased (two different brands). Neither one worked! This heating pad is nice and large but it literally never gets warm. Returning it. Interestingly enough the instructions say “Do not use on pets”. Make it make sense.

A warm spot for my cat
I have multiple indoor/outdoor cats that all come inside at night and sleep on the couches and cat tree. But one of our cats isn’t allowed to sleep inside anymore because she doesn’t like sharing litter boxes with all the other cats (who are all a part of the same litter, but not related to her) and pees in innapropriate places instead. So I set up a special place for her in the garage with her own litter box, bed, and food dishes, and she seemed fine with that arrangement for the last couple months. Lately the temperature has been dropping drastically at night and the garage feels like an ice box when I go out there in the morning, and I felt bad that I was making her sleep out there. So I got this pet heating pad for her and set it up in the corner of the garage in a sheltered area, and she took to it immediately. The next morning she was curled up on it when I went out there and didn’t immediately want to leave it to dart inside like she normally does. Now I’m not too worried about leaving her out there at night anymore since she has a cozy warm spot to sleep. The heating pad is simple to use and a good size for a large cat or tiny dog. It has a flexible cord that has a protective casing on it to prevent animals from chewing on it and getting shocked. The attached remote allows you to choose between 9 heat settings, and also allows you to set a timer if you want it to shut off after a certain amount of time. It is water proof as well, so no worries if a wet pet decides to lie on it. It’s a great solution for providing a safe warm spot for your critters when you don’t want them to freeze their little tails off outside.

Very little heat- no cover
My senior dog loves a good heating pad & the one I use for him now cuts off automatically after 2 hrs so I thought this one would be a good way of keeping him cozy while also preventing me from having to go turn the other on every 2 hrs.Sadly he wanted absolutely nothing to do with this one & used his giant hound nose to kick it off his bed. Iâm assuming bc he didnât like the feel & sound of the plastic I was trying to get him to lie on (he will not use cooling mats in summer for this same reason.. heâs weird about noises/textures)I tried covering it with a thin sheet while waiting for it to heat up⦠even on high (which I would never leave it on) I could not get it to heat up even comparable to low on the plushy one that we currently use.I donât know if maybe we just accidentally received a manufacturing dud or whatI liked the idea of a generous timer, & that it is easily wiped down if like my senior dog, yours has accidentsThere is a warning right on the manufacturer tag on the product to always unplug unit when youâre not there. I do this anyways on most things, but for those interested in using this as a heat source for outdoor dogs, this would basically prohibit that & would not be a consistent source of heat which outside dogs definitely need during winter. (Mine stay inside where they belong. )It is easy to use/assemble but I would say for the value & functionality, this would likely be a pass next time for me.
