White Wins the Race!
Buy a white flea comb so you can see if you have caught a tiny flea in it! I was using a darker colored comb and the debris just wasn’t distinguishable from the flea, making the work less effective.The tines are strong and angled only slightly, for ergonomics. I found that the greater angle on some combs actually worked against me.You have two options in size, so you can use the little comb on the areas that are harder to handle, like around the face and in the crook of the leg.And Bonus! My kitty, Becky Smith, who is notoriously skittish and independent, has come to luxuriate in her daily combing! She stands on the bathroom counter purring, not trying to escape!

Our seven month old âkittensâ have had an uphill battle with fleas since we rescued them – which is essentially since they were a month old. Theyâre from a feral mama who had fleas. Even with the vet prescribed flea treatments and things we use/do around the house – just doesnât seem to work. Poor babies get so itchy sometimes. I took these combs to them the other night. I was able to get quite a few off of them. The fleas get trapped in between the metal prongs. Most of them would stay trapped. Since using these, it seems to have helped some. I like spraying the combs with flea spray so as I brush their coats – it leaves the flea repellent/killer on their coats/skin. Seems to be helping.
