Great for active dog
This fits a 32 lbs cockapoo so pay attention to measurements. Easy on easy off, zipper on the back accommodates a harness. I added a small loop to the inside of the collar for easy hang up.

Kind of a pain to get on, but near-perfect fIt for my Mini Dachshundâs long body!
Iâm not one for making my pets wear clothing, but I learned very quickly when I got a small breed puppy that itâs necessary for them, especially in the cold! Unfortunately, I have the hardest time finding anything that fits my Mini Dachshund.His measurements always put him in at least two different sizes based on the measurements listed in the size charts. The breed is known for their long length and tiny legs, but thereâs also a huge discrepancy in their neck vs their chest vs their collar-to-tail (back) length measurements. That makes finding any type of clothing that covers the entire length of his back a challenge.With every previous coat Iâve gotten him, Iâve been forced to get a size I already know wonât fit him in some way. For eg., theyâll fit great in his neck and chest, but donât cover over 1/3 of in his back.This coat does a much better job than all the previous attempts, but it comes with some caveatsâ¦itâs not the easiest to put on him by far. Itâs a lot different than any of the others Iâve tried before in that there are three different areas of Velcro that have to be fastened underneath him, so you canât see what youâre doing while youâre trying to put it on. Thatâs especially true if your dog refuses to sit still and squirms all over the place!The Velcro is great for adjusting the size – you have some room to play with, as opposed to it being non-adjustable fixed points of closure. Thatâs both a blessing and a curse bc of the previously mentioned fact that you canât see what youâre doing when fastening it. This coat is also unique in the way itâs designed to fit – itâs meant to sit farther back on your petâs neck than most coats. The sellerâs pics portray that aspect very well. .Itâs mostly well made of high quality, mid-weight quilted material. The placement and size of the slits on the top of his back arenât the bestâ¦the smaller one on the top is SO TINY that itâs hard to even get a leash clip through it. Thereâs another 3-4â long zippered access point just below the small slit thatâs meant to allow you to zip and unzip it in order to clip the leash onto the harness, which is great in theory, but itâs located almost dead center of the back length. Itâs nowhere near the D-rings on his harness, so it serves no purpose.Overall, this coat does the job better than any of the previous coats Iâve tried, so the flaws arenât a dealbreaker. Absolutely highly recommended!

Beautiful coat, not really pink-Sizing is off!
This is a beautiful coat. From the stitching to the puffed collar. The quilted fabric is nice. The reflective nature helps your furry friend stay visible.All the praise aside, this has a few issues. First, the quilted cloth feels almost hollow, there are several sections where it feels as if thereâs something else inside but most of the straight portions feel flat. Only the fabric youâre touching and the fabric from the other side, nothing inside. Hardly a winter jacket, unless you live in a warm region like California. Winter here in my region is never colder than 50 degrees day/night.Second, I associate pink with a brighter tone of pink hue, like a famous cartoon cat or panther. Thatâs pink. This sits more around a rose. Other sources would call this flamingo.Third, I went with a small one based on the size chart. My chihuahua sits at 11x16x11 which falls between xs and s. According to the chart, if your sizing sits between sizes, size up. This wasnât the best choice. Measuring the fabric that wraps the chest area, and excluding 1 side of the velcro since they overlap, it seems to measure about 17.5â. However, thereâs elastic fabric covering the bottom that adds another 2â for a grand total of 19.5â. This is just way too big. If S is sized the same way that would have been a much better option for her.I love the coat but the issues will make this thing an occasional thing until I find something that actually fits correctly.4-star coat, 3-star sizing.Overall, 3-stars

Great Details
I had some difficulty choosing a size, so ended up selecting one based on the top/back length. The sizing guidelines indicate that it should fit around my dog’s chest with a bit of ease in this particular size, but it is a little bit snug. If you’re trying to choose between two sizes, I would advise sizing up… and just ignoring the neck measurement altogether.Despite it being slightly snug around the chest, it fits Daisy well, and although she is not usually a fan of “clothing,” she loves this jacket, and it seems to be keeping her warm on our currently 32° walks.It’s easy to put on and to take off, which is a process of which Daisy is usually not a fan; she is not resistant to this coat, as she is to some others.But the zipper for the harness attachment… that is genius. There’s even a little “lining” there, so that the zipper – which is double-ended – does not snag her fur. There is also a stitched hole just above it, should you wish to attach the leash to a collar instead, though in Daisy’s case this would pull the jacket too far forward.The fabric is very nice and has a sueded feel; there’s a cute little “leather” tag; and the interior fabric does not collect hair. Love the orange color, which is bright but not “hunter safety” day-glo.Just a great cute and (seemingly) comfortable jacket, with superior detailing, for this price. It’s so cute that people slow down to get a better look at Daisy when I’m walking her. 🙂 But my main concern is her comfort… and this seems to suit nicely.
