A good head halter.
I am pretty happy with this halter. I have own quite a few in last 20 years since I was first introduced to the head halter concept. This one is well built, and while sized a bit big I’d rather too big than to small. Head halters are hard to fit on your dogs without trying them on first. I like that it is sturdier than I expected. The last one I had our dog shredded while wearing it. I would have preferred a metal buckle and an emergency connection to the dogs collar should the buckle give way – but for the price I am happy. If you are new to head halters – PLEASE do your research. These need to be introduced slowly, with lots of rewards, and fitted correctly to your dog.

IT WORKS!!
I have a crazy lab mix 1 years old, 35 pounds. She COULD NOT walk leash and not pull your arm off. The small sized one fit her snout and she cant get it off. She has completely stopped pulling, doesnât get excited bark, and you can just walk normally. It corrects her.

Works for pulling, until it malfunctions and you lose your dog
This product is fine and stops pulling once your dog gets used to the sensation, but the ring you attach the leash to is not secure. It fully detached from the collar in the middle of a walk and my dog got loose. I think it would be more secure to simply clip the leash onto the fabric strap itself. Ultimately, I will not buy again. I suggest you frequently inspect the ring for spreading or maybe just don’t use the ring at all. Maybe just buy a different headcollar.

Doesn’t irritate my dog like others
Best one I’ve found yet! Awesome training tool! Doesn’t slide around in his snout like many others, he can’t reach it to chew on it, it’s more padded than most, plus the part to attach the leash is larger so it’s much easier to buckle & unhook him. I don’t like the logo directly over his nose, but my seam ripper should remove it easy enough, otherwise it would get 5 stars. Even without the extra clip for collar additional safety and security this is a better item. I swear by these styles but have had dogs slip out of them or the part that goes behind the ears loosen up often, that’s not been the case with this one ever even with my pup rubbing to cuddle or scratching an itch. The fit is perfect too. Very happy will buy again.

FALTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR POOR PRODUCT
This is advertised with certain measurements on your dog, but in reality, the measurements they advertise are not the same as on the product. I purchased the medium and was concerned it might even be tight on my puppy as she is 34 pounds, large for her age of18 weeks. She measured on the long end of what was given for measurements, which were close to the large size. When the product arrived I had to resize the halter to the smallest setting and even that was almost 2 inches too big. Puppy had the halter off in 2 seconds. FALTY ADVERTISING. The product does not have a lock beneath the chin so the dog is able to slip their snout out of the device with ease. I will not buy from this company or seller again.

Donât buy this. The muzzle portion is poorly sown and the plastic that wraps around the snout will cut into your dog. Not cool slave labored kids of what ever poor country has to make this not cool!

GREAT DOG HEADCOLLAR MEASURE & CHECK CHART
This headcollar has worked great with my cautious/ reactive 4y10mo border collie x blue heeler. It does seem to give her some courage as she seems to grumble/ growl less at the people we pass walking. We use this along with trying to follow the principles of Dr. Sophia Yin (drsophiayin.com). I used their size charts and measured her in order to find the right fit. She has a beautiful feminine proportionate border collie shaped head ( she got it from her mama). Although she is a 47.7lb medium sized dog she measured a small, but……It fits her perfectly- after a quick cuticle scissors removal of the poorly placed PAWABOO label from the nosepiece. Nosepieces are high friction areas and very likely to irritate skin. It appears to be very well made and the reflective detail is awesome. I like the style of it better than others as it has cheek pieces like a horse halter in order to hold its shape better and make it more escape proof. My dog has tried flailing like a fish on a line. I did hopefully put a stop to that behavior since that is when a head collared dog can hurt themselves. The only thing that happens aside from her looking out of control and me Looking like a clueless ass is that she manages to gets a bottom strap somehow caught in her mouth-she seems to chew at it but I think she is just trying to get it out of her mouth as she isnât chewing on it like she has other things like she does leashes when she is excited !

Hate the quality of this. Itâs full of plastic-sharp edges and not well finished. It does seem very sturdy but thereâs no way Iâm putting this on my dog. It could never be comfortable for her to wear.

La uso cuando mà perra, setter irlandés, está desbocada, que tira mucho, ella se lo toma casi como un castigo, pero es cierto que con el puesto enseguida deja de tirar aunque no le gusta e intenta quitárselo como si fuera un bozal, pero es práctico y ayuda bastante al paseo, cuando la lleva mi hijo pequeño de paseo es muy cómoda, porque es un perro con mucha vitalidad y fuerza pero se relaja mucho al tenerlo puesto, no la uso a diario porque suele pasear bien, pero si vamos a sitios nuevos se pone nerviosa y con esto no tira. Our dog gets very barky when he gets excited, but this isnât why we bought this item. He tends to pull when heâs walking in group walks with his friends, so we thought weâd give this a go. This is padded where it needs to be, and fits him beautifully, it doesnât ride up his face either as some others do. Iâve seen some that make the poor dogs eyes bulge – uncomfortable and not a good look. Wow, what a difference it has made! He walks beautifully to heel now, and I donât usually have to attach the lead to it (we use a police lead that can attach to both collar and halter at the same time). It definitely has calmed him down, some of that maybe down to his embarrassment at having to wear it, as it ruins his âStreet Credâ, but I genuinely would recommend it. Two of my friends have borrowed it and have gone on to order three between them, so that must tell you something. This is as good, if not better than others that are selling for twice the price. So long as you get the correct size for your dog, it should fit beautifully. As a guide, we have a flat coat retriever/collie cross and a Medium is spot on.
