Definitely Water-Proof and Surprisingly Warm
I got a new mattress but was pretty worried about how long it would last. This water-proof blanket has giving some serious peace of mind. Let me break it down for you and explain why:1. Between me and the girlfriend we have 2 cats and a dog. Poor dog has a bladder issue and randomly pees the bed sometimes.2. I literally drop everything I hold for more than a minute (like seriously its the worst butterfingers known to man). But her…I’ve watched her “try” to get a spoonful of soup into her mouth and fail miserably multiple times in a row just because she didn’t want to take her eyes off whatever she was watching. Obviously staining her shirt, pants and whatever she’s sitting on.3. Lets just say her and I end up spending a lot of our nights pretty…..sweaty…..you know what I mean.So with all the messes we are surrounded by (if not responsible for) I’d be d@mned if I was gonna let this mattress get ruined within a short time. So far its been a week and half since I received my blanket and this thing works FOR REAL, and that is with some serious testing too. I’ve washed it a couple of times and there has been no reduction in the waterproof-ness. Blanket washes on cold water, gentle cycle.The size is exactly as it says, 60in x 80in for Queen. Lays perfectly to all edges on top of the mattress. Its not super thick, which is a plus for me. I usually run hot all the time so I don’t need the big fluffy hotel style enormous swallow you alive blanket to sleep. Surprisingly, this blanket was much warmer than I expected. Not in a bad way. It saves me from having to use more blankets in the winter (Colorado can get cold some nights).Lastly about the double-sided style and material used. The fuzzy thicker side with longer strands is the Sherpa side I believe, and the other more plush side is Fleece. Both are soft and comfortable and all that. But I do prefer the Fleece side more. It’s super soft, really comfortable, the cats love it, think they own it, and have attempted to fight me for it. They lost of course.All in all very impressed with this blanket. It’s turned out to be so much better than expected. Will update this in the future to talk about the longevity. Which I sincerely hope this lasts for a good while, cuz I will buy many more of these if so.

Very pretty and super quality
We got this to protect our bedspread from a couple of older kitties that occasionally hork hairballs, and this is going to do the trick. The first day we got it, I placed it on the bed and poured 2 cups of water on it. The water stayed on top and didn’t soak in, and a quick toweling dried it nicely. That was on the plaid, smooth side. The only problem I might see with that is that the water could easily roll off the blanket, so anything like urine might do the same thing. I didn’t try the sherpa side, but I would expect that to be a little more absorbent to liquid mishaps. But clearly, nothing is going to get through this blanket to our bed, and that is what we wanted. And it’s pretty – the plaid looks great on our gray bedspread and no one would have any idea it is for anti-hairball protection! And it’s soft enough and cuddly enough to use as a throw – we’re totally pleased.

Warm, cozy waterproof doggie blanket
We received our doggie waterproof blanket for the couch and our pups love it so much, in fact, that I just ordered 2 more! It is so cozy and soft that our littlest pup just wraps himself up in it after coming in from outside or in the evening as the temp drops in the house. He looks so adorable and happy so it must be quite comfortable which makes it a great value for the money and one of the nicest doggie blankets we have bought as usually we have to cover him with 2 blankets lol⦠thank you for this perfect blanket for the winter season.

Best purchase ever
I just got this blanket the other day, and it is a mattress saver! I was watering one of my big plants in my room, and I dropped at least 1L of water on my bed. I thought this blanket would only take a little bit of water, and thought my mattress was ruined.The water didn’t even go past the blanket!!! It saved me from doing so much laundry. Not only that but it’s soft and warm too :)10/10 recommend I WILL buy this again

Beautiful, but a pain to dry, but worth it.
Well, I got this because my furbaby Lulu sleeps on my bed, but she’s older and on heart medicines that cause her to wee more. First, it’s super soft, comfortable, beautiful, warm and completely protected my new bed when lulu wet it. I am very happy about it. The only down side is that it can’t be dried because of the water proof center being possibly damaged. When I took it out of the washer there’s still water at the bottom, in the blanket. Have to squeeze it out and lay it out to dry. I tried to air dry in the dryer, but did nothing. Took 2 days to dry, but I would purchase another anyway. It’s a wonderful quality blanket. So luxuriously soft and cuddly. I imagine any water proof blanket would have the same drying issues so it’s not a deal breaker. Gives great protection, just in case I don’t wake up to let her out. Happy with this purchase overall.

Dog Approved Couch cover
Got this for my new couch (ikea landskrona) to protect it from my dog and her grooming habits. My old couch cushions were stained from my dog’s excessively wet grooming habits, and this throw is thick enough to keep the cushions dry. The 60×80 just long enough to tuck around the cushions so it doesn’t get displaced. After a few months of being my dog’s favorite spot to spend her day, the couch beneath still looks (and smells) new. Fabric is not as cozy as similar sherpa/velvet throws, but is cozy enough for its purpose and the charcoal fabric matches the ikeas dark grey fabric enough that it isn’t distracting. Its easy enough to grab and throw in the hamper if I have company. I can’t speak to its true waterproof abilities from spills and accidents, but it seems to not let moisture through the middle layer if it doesn’t sit. Downside is that it takes a while to launder and gets quite heavy in the top loader so it can be dificult to balance for spin cycle.

Iâve had my blanket for over a year now. My dog licks her paws so much itâll sometimes leave a wet spot right through to the mattress. With this blanket it never goes through. Also a quick wash and the blanket goes back to looking perfect again. Soft and beautiful. So many waterproof products have disappointed me I was really surprised that this one has lasted so long with no leaks, ever. 100% worth it.

I bought this specifically because it claimed to be 100% waterproof.It is not. My cat peed on it while I was sleeping and it leaked through the âwaterproofâ barrier and on the down duvet it was supposed to protect. And not just a little bit of liquid seeped through either. The stain left behind and yellowed onto my duvet was dinner plate sized. Very disappointed.

Tengo un gato que no usa siempre el arenero y era una lata encontrar heces y papi en mi cama, con esta mantita, dejo de hacerlo y realmente es impermeable, vacié un vaso de agua y no traspasa :), asà que me voy con gran tranquilidad!
