I have a big Thai Ridgeback that only does what he wants to do when we come to an agreement. He’s very smart and very strong and we got him when he was wild so he’s had to learn everything about living in a house. He’s a beautiful dog, and a great guard, dog, but he will not allow any medicine in his ears that has an odor. So this product was a lifesaver.I think it saved his hearing! It ‘s not as strong as some other medicines, but it does the job if your consistent and apply it properly. So. if you have a resistant dog or a dog that won’t let you get in his ears, what I did was I put just a few drops of this medication on a cotton swab, and slowly rubbed his ears, rubbed underneath his ears, which he loves, because he’s always in pain, especially in one ear. Then I gradually got the cotton ball in his ear where he’s comfortable and got it down into his ear and rubbed it and scratched it in, and started feeling good for him. after all everybody needs to have their itch, scratched, right? Over several weeks I gradually added more and more of the fluid to the point now where it is fairly saturated with the medication, and I use my hand to warm it up, and I slowly get it in his ear down his ear and then I squeeze it slowly so I can actually get the fluid deep down inside his ear to the point where I ‘m now getting the junk out, and you smart enough to understand this is helping him. It also helps when you have a couple chicken jerky. Ready for a good boy. Thank you Max. When he’s all done. Then he does the doggy head-shake, which is of course how the medicine needs to work! So, if you have a resistant dog, this is a process that over a weeks of practicing has worked for my 80 pound tire Ridgeback. Who grew up in the woods and was tracked for over a year before they finally caught him and he was in a kill shelter and I rescued him. He’s a $7000 dog if you buy him new. Very smart completely independent and amazing guard dog one of our best friends and now he loves the product and he loves his treatment. All because it doesn’t have a smell. And it doesn’t sting him like other medicines too. if you’re in a similar situation that we were, try this process, it should work for you. You must be persistent and make sure you’ve got plenty of Chicken jerky ready as a treat. Thank you for the great product.

Disclaimer: My pug boy is prone to ear infections, so I don’t expect any product to work miracles. That said, the solution recommended by my vet worked much better than this. Whether you shake it or not, this has a much “soapier” consistency than other stuff I’ve used, and it dries hard, like hair spray.I didn’t give it a lower rating because it did the number 1 job – loosening the dirty ear buildup for cleaning – fairly well. But I would not buy again, other products do the job without the soapiness.

WOW! Again WOW!. My poor girl has always had some ear issues. Way too much wax buildup and just itchy. We have tried a few other products and they have only been ok. I really dont like using the stuff the vets give you because it really seems to bother her more than the itchy waxy ear itself. . I stumbled across this in my search for something new and I am so glad we did. Gross alert….. Her ears were bad this time I could have literally taken a tsp of wax out of her ears. It was insane the amount in there and they smelled terrible. Dark brown in color and just everywhere. Nothing would break it up.I put the 15 drops in of this stuff and waited. Later in the evening I got out the flashlight and I was quite surprised. The wax was actually significantly less and what was left had changed color to this grey ick. But I could see a difference with just the one use. I used it a couple days in a row and kept her ears clean.I must say she is a very happy pooch. Her ears look amazing. Its not perfect, but I do think if we continue to use this and keep an eye on them she will be able to have clean ears for once. I am very pleased and will defiantly order again when we run out. Thank you for a great product.

I’m temporarily fostering a pup who has been scratching his ear and shaking his head feverishly since he got here. I ordered this product, used it right away, and within 36 hours he was SO MUCH better and I only had to apply it once. This morning I was rubbing his ears, he pulled away and started to shake his head. Two huge (grossness warning) chunks of wax came flying out, and he has not been scratching or shaking his head AT ALL since. I really think it works like it says it will. I was getting concerned because at first he seemed like the scratching was more frantic and accompanied by whining, but it’s all good now. Great product.

I always had a hard time to clean my dogs ear, she will not let me. Her ears were so bad. This product is really different, and amazing. When I splashed few drops inside her ears and started massaging for 30 seconds or more, she already looked revealed, she made her happy sound, then I let her shake her head and wiped ears, the dirt came out, very recommended . product is really good at loosening my cat’s earwax and great at expelling the ones that are deeper inside. it has a faint chemical smell that worries me a little but so far my cat hasn’t had any bad reactions or side effects from it (it does make her cry a lot tho). packaging is poor. the twist cap is loose and makes it hard to control how much liquid comes out, the first time using it poured so much that it spilled out of my cat’s ear and onto her head. need to be very careful about how much you twist the cap open and how much you tilt the bottle
