Only Ones Bunny Will Eat
Great for picky bunnies. Westley thinks it is a thrilling treat and we get to support his elderly bunny joints.

Best Supplement for Older Rabbit
I have an older rabbit and out of all of the Oxbow Science supplements she has tried, I noticed that this joint support one is helping the most with joint support AND poopy butt issue. These are more common in older buns. I will repurchase.

It works great for aging rats!
After reading many reviews about how these treats improved arthritic rabbits, I ordered a package for my aging male rat with hind leg degeneration. While the flavor did not appeal to any of my rats at first, after several weeks of tempting them to eat them with various schemes to imbibe the treats with enticing flavors, my boys suddenly enjoyed them! I got very lucky. Not as enthusiastically as like a banana chip, but would eat them when given. I noticed a significant increase in activity, even as the hind leg degeneration got worse– my boy was cheerful and determined as ever to scoot around the cage. I believe it did help his quality of life in his old age. I later used these treats with another male rat who had a tumor, was becoming thin and arthritic, having issues grooming, and uncharacteristically grumpy. As soon as he started eating these regularly, he perked up, was happier, was bathing himself again, and got back into his usual routines. It gave us 4 more months with him to spoil him and get boggles. Gave 1/4 of a tablet, a little trickier to break down but possible.

Joint support
These Oxbow supplements are great. My bunny is 5 now and our vet recommended a joint support supplement to keep her healthy. These are great. I give these to her everyday to keep her body healthy. I recommend these for sure.

My rabbits think they are treats and riot when it goes on backorder, so I strongly advise stocking up.

It works on aging rabbits
This product made a huge difference with my very old aging rabbit, a positive and noticeable behavior impact. My rabbit has arthritis due to age, got slower, less active, less curious, you name it…After I started the joint support I noticed improvement in 2 days, but at the 4th day it was very noticeable improvement. My rabbit loves the taste of it and gets crazy to get it, now he is back to his younger routines of curiosity walking around the house and he stands up in two legs again, amazing! My rabbit is a Polish, with a normal lifespan of 5-6 years, mine is 9 years old, he gets one supplement at morning and then another at evening. This is NOT a paid feedback or anything alike, just a rabbit owner telling you the facts after my pet started getting this support “cookies”. It works and works very good, I know it will not fix age arthritis but its making his life better and keeping him very active after we started the supplement.

Effectiveness hard to tell, but rabbit loves them, our vet uses them, Oxbow is already a good brand.
Not sure if it really makes a difference. I bought these not long ago for my 9 year old rabbit. She’s not a picky eater and caught on immediately! Soon after, she had a vet visit for a checkup and was given two of the ‘Multi Vitamins’ by the same company as a take-home vitamin treat, which I found amusing. Having these certainly hasn’t bothered her any, and now every night she knows she gets one with her dinner. Not a bad price and I have only been giving one a day instead of the recommended two. She’s always been in great health but I figure at best these help as she ages, at worst they are delicious treats. I’ve liked Oxbow for years due to them being one of the only brands (if not THE only) that make TIMOTHY-based food pellets instead of alfalfa, especially for those who don’t know to look online. Here I am about to purchase another couple bottles of it, so that must be a thumbs up from us I reckon.Original post was August 17, 2017Edit made January 3, 2019:My rabbit still loves them and has been receiving 2 a day for at least a year or so – if I don’t include one with her meal, she will look at me expectantly and impatiently grab it when I do offer one. I feed her twice a day and just include one in her pellets; she always digs it out and munches on it first. I stand by my previous comments – I like Oxbow products and my rabbit gobbles these right up. About to put in yet another order! She’ll be 11 this upcoming summer and is still in great health aside from a UTI last summer, so I want to keep her healthy and comfortable as long as possible!

Early this year, one of my rabbits started having issues with his left leg, mixture of arthritis and splooting his entire life causing strain on where his leg meets his hips. While he’s nowhere near where he was before the issues started, these treats have been a game changer in keeping him mobile and comfortable. And bonus that it’s a supplement that he enjoys the taste of as he’s always been picky with treats

I donât know if they actually helped with my rabbits joints, but they were certainly a tasty treat for him. He loved these just as much as a fruit treat. I would recommend these for anyone that has a pet rabbit. Especially since rabbits are prone to joint issues. If these help prevent future issues then itâs definitely worth it. Iâve also learned that rabbits shouldnât be on slippery floors (wood or tile flooring) as the slippery surface can cause arthritis. Give your rabbit carpets and these to ensure a long healthy life!
