Customers say
Customers find the pet toy durable and great for large dogs. It withstands chewing and chomping, and has a good bounce. Many consider it a great toy that has exactly the features advertised. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the squeakiness, light level, value for money, and size.

The squeak might die the ball does not.
If you want to cut to the chase YES THIS PRODUCT WORKS, if you want more details then continue reading. So for starters, we have a 75 pound Doberman whom we call “The Destroyer of All Things”. Anything she can tear into (toy wise) she will dismantle in a matter of minutes. It’s been very frustrating trying to find toys that will last long enough to occupy her playtime without us feeling like we may as just hand her money to shred up and throw in the garbage.I will say that my dog, however, is also a “picky” destroyer and will not simply chew and destroy and play with just any toy. I bought her a solid hard rubber ball once that weighed a ton and because it was so stiff and had zero give and was actually indestructible (to her standers) but, she played with it for a matter of 30 seconds before never touching it again. If it’s too solid and indestructible she gets no satisfaction from it and won’t play with it, which is also a waste of money since it’s been sitting at the bottom of her toy bin ever since. So trying to find a toy that is a balance of fun for her and durable for our pockets was a hard task, until now.My husband somehow stumbled upon this ball and hopeful from all the glowing reviews (but still skeptical so we wouldn’t be disappointed if it didn’t work) we ordered it immediately. We have NOT been disappointed thus far and she’s had it for a month!! Just like some reviews have said, the squeak did not last long, but that wasn’t surprising. Our dog’s favorite toys used to be the yellow tennis style kong balls and she’d have the squeak killed in a matter of seconds until it only wheezed and then she’d tear up the ball itself. Which is why we needed to find a replacement that she could shred into tiny rubber pieces all over my floor. This ball really truly was not annoying when is squeaked, until the piercing shrieking noise the Kong tennis balls made this one was pretty chill on the noise level and I didn’t mind it at all while it worked. If the squeaker hadn’t died I wouldn’t have been driven up the wall with the noise and bonus my dog still loved it either way. But, the squeak didn’t last long, maybe a few minutes at most. However, I continued and continue to monitor this ball for any other signs of defeat and have yet to find ANY. Not a tooth mark, not a nick, nothing, nada, ZILCH. This ball is soft enough that it has some give when she chomps down on it, but it’s durable enough to bounce back and not snap or crack or break under pressure. The give my dog gets from chewing on it keeps her attention because I think it gives her some false sense of hope that she might still be able to destroy it. So even after a month, she’s not lost interest. Also, even though the squeak has died when she chomps down on the ball it sort of makes a clicking/suctioning noise which also makes her very happy to play with it. She loves it when we toss it down the hallway because of the softer rubber it has a rather unpredictable bounce and so she never quite knows where it’s going to go.Highly recommended and I cannot wait to test out other products from this brand and buy her a couple of more balls to have around the house in replacement to her old Kong balls.

Great for my pitbull, worth the price! the warranty isnât what it seems so check their site first.
Iâve now purchased 3 and I donât see myself ever stopping! My 55lb Staffie (pitbull) has absolutely obliterated every ball and toy (rope, rubber, stuffed) before this one in a matter of minutes. You take your eyes off it, and the next time youâd look back it would be in pieces. Kong Xtremes and other âindestructibleâ toys only lasted a week, tops. He also goes nuts for anything that squeaks, so keeping him happily entertained for a while was a challenge because the second heâd chomp down on a squeaker, itâd break. Heâs now had this blue squeak ball for a MONTH and it STILL SQUEAKS!! He regularly falls asleep with it still in his mouth, or tucked under his chin. Thatâs how obsessed he is with this thing. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who needs a seriously durable toy for their super powerful chewer as thatâs been my experience! This material is super bouncy and he can bite down (unlike some rubbers, Kong/West Paw) without puncturing it somehow. Itâs perfect for fetch, and floats too. Heâs never had a toy last this long, so this is a welcome break for my wallet despite being a more expensive toy. I was buying a few toys every week until we tried this one!Cons: The first two balls didnât squeak after a few days, so maybe theyâve improved something since then. The warranty replacement process is more tedious than others like West Paw, and only replaces them ONCE. Itâs also requires more force to squeak this given the nature of the material, but since it extends the life of the squeaker Iâm totally fine with it.

Stopped working in less than an hour of arriving
like many others reviewers have said, the ball did not even last a day. My dog loved it for the maybe three throws it lit up for. Then it started only flashing in green instead of all the colors, within a throw or two more it stopped lighting up at all.Would be a cool product if it didn’t fail so quickly. I also didn’t realize the batteries were not replaceable, honestly would have gone with another brand had I known. The ball itself is glow in the dark though, so at least there’s that.

surviving our wire fox terrier
There are very few things you can give a wire fox terrier that won’t be destroyed sooner than you like. We’ve had 8 wire fox terriers over the years. Our five year old male had destroyed 4 Giggle Balls and had developed an unhealthy addiction to them, so I did some research online and found a really informative review about toys that are virtually indestructible. I bought the Squeak and am thrilled with it. It has a really nice heft to it. It’s easy to throw and the great part is that our dog can never predict where it will go once it has hit the ground — it rebounds a different way each time. I can even bounce the ball hard right in front of me and it will take off in unexpected directions, rebounding off any surface it touches. It keeps our dog’s brain working while he’s being active. Our dog doesn’t seem to want to chew it when he’s not playing, but he will put it in his bed. The review said it wouldn’t hurt him, even if he were to swallow parts of it, but that hasn’t been a problem so far. We think it’s great fun and highly recommend it.

I have had this about 2 weeks now and using it every day. I donât see any undo signs of wear or tear. My dog loves this ball and I think she is attracted to the lights. With winter time, the lights are really convenient as the sun goes down early and her evening walks are always in the dark. The only downside is you cannot charge this or replace the battery – not so good for the environment when it eventually stops lighting up.UPDATE: after 4 months of almost daily use, the ball is still in good shape with no signs of undue wear or tear. The lights are still going but quite a bit dimmer – they went dim within a few weeks of use but steady since then

Indestructible. My dog likes to chew balls and this is still going strong 6 months on. The squeaker is built in so it can’t fall out or get damaged by teeth. My dog is a giant cross breed (50% German shepard, 50% borzoi) for reference. This ball is roughly the size of a large tennis ball from Pets at Home – big enough to suitable for giant breeds and small enough that a spaniel could pick it up. The squeaker isn’t loud, and he has to squeeze it hard from the right angle, so it also won’t bother you while you’re watching TV. Fairly bouncy so good for outdoor games, but it does get a bit slimy so I wouldn’t recommend playing fetch with it.
