A must have for outside pets
I built my dog a âwinterâ house. It is well insulated, has a door and two heat sources. My dog LOVES this heated pad. This is her second one. I like that it has two settings. I secured it to the floor with small screws in the corners. The heat feels good to her senior bones. I donât use the Sherpa cover however as it could freeze in a power outage. I use straw or cedar chips for padding and additional warmth.

So far it’s a hit
I have a family of feral cats that showed up in just as it turned cold,rainy, and windy. I built them some shelters but they seem to prefer to stay outside even when it’s below 30° so I searched for a heated bed that I could put under my motorhome where they have chosen to live. I was a bit worried because I saw a lot of reviews on other pads that caught fire. Even though this one didn’t have many reviews it did state it had met a lot of certifications so I took a chance on it. Yes it’s hard plastic with a very thin cover but it’s a lot nicer than sitting in the gravel or on a board. I got the larger one and Momma and 2 of her kittens fit on it but she has 3 kittens so I guess I need another one but the price has gone up. Since I don’t have any idea of the longevity or fireproofness of this one I’m not sure I want to get a second one at this point. The unit itself doesn’t have any sign of certification which I think they usually do. Only the box says it is MET certified. It seems well made so I hope it lasts through the winter. (They have self warming beds in the shelters and straw). I can’t see this working for a dog though unless it’s a really small one.

Very nice heating pad, using it for our tortoise who has decided to hang around in the back yard. He was trying to burrow but has since decided this is much better!

Works well but not flexible
Heat is great . You can set it to always on which we did for a week when temps were below zero. The pad is firm and not bendable so keep that in mind if buying for an igloo type house it wonât fit . Itâs meant to go in a flat crate with large opening. Luckily one of our ferrel cat houses is a large rectangle so it worked great.

I am a wildlife Rehabilitator and use these heated floors for squirrels that are in the soft release enclosure – they are still young and benefit from supplemental heat prior to release. I need heated floors with a metal encased cord so they canât chew into the wires and get shocked. This does the trick!

It’s a piece of 1/4 in plywood with a low heating level pad
I plug this up for the feral cats/dogs to warm up. I keep a kids pup tent up with this a feeder and a heated water and a little Alexa camera.. My videos are full of kitty’s and doggies just staying warm,sometimes all together.This does not provide much heat, but I guess when youve been abandoned by your family it doesn’t take much to make you happy.The power cord is chew resistant, but I’m still looking for a better one.I only get 113° reading on this one at bestMay the Angels watch over our friends and unloved ones in fur.

Well worth the price
This is my 3rd Outdoor heating pad purchase. Other 2 were KH brand but this one is same good quality. Very happy with the size, quality and the fact that it came with a nice thick cover. The strays are staying warm in our below freezing weather.
