These are the only boots/shoes that have not slipped off my poodle mix with long skinny legs!
I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE ONE!!I have been on the search for doggy shoes or boots that wont slip off my super long and skinny legged small poodle mix dog. For size reference, my dog is from nose to base of tail 29″, his shoulder height is 18″, and he weighs 21pounds. His feet have a width of 1.75″ so I got him the XS.The most important thing for me was ease of slipping the foot and leg in without catching his dew claws, and also the ability to stay on even when running. I have tried multiple different kinds of shoes and none have really stayed on. I’ve also tried walkee paws and his back legs always end up some how slipping out. I’m not saying the shoes are bad, just that they didn’t work for my dog. When fully opened, the opening at the top to the bottom goes from wide to narrow, like a cone. This is what helps me to get my wiggly dogs foot in with no issues. The straps not only wrap around easily, but are elastic for that extra snug fit with room for movement. There are also two straps per shoe wrapping around the parts of the legs and not the bendy joints of the leg. The very top of the shoe has an elastic draw string that really helps to snatch in and make flush with my dogs legs. The draw string also sits exactly above the ankle/elbow of the back legs which further guarantees no slip offs of the shoe. The inside of the shoe is lined with fleece which further offers a cushioned, snug fit. The bottom of the shoe is rubber and my dog had little to no problem on gravel, sand, dirt, concrete, and asphalt. A little slipping never hurt anyone. I recently went up to the mountains with the hopes of these shoes staying on when taking “mountainous” walks and I was NOT disappointed. I am no mountain hiker but I did enjoy walking along a lake with brush and gravel and taking easy dirt and paved bike trails. I’m so glad I could take my dog with me without having to worry that his paw pads would get something lodged into it post hike. It also helped to keep his legs clean and dry. This doggy mom and pup are very satisfied customers.

    Runs a little to big
Great quality honestly, I’ve bought 4 different boots for my border collie. She loves playing in snow but last year she cut her foot pretty bad on some ice and I’ve been trying to find something to help. But so far no luck size runs big and doesn’t fit her legs sadly:( if anyone has any recommendations for boots please tell me!!:)

    Best dog boots EVER
Boots stay on even in 12 inches of snow. Insulated and water resistant. No more snowballs in their paws!

I really wanted to love these….
…but I don’t. They will be returned. The idea is great, but the boot shaft material is way too stiff. Especially in bitter cold. It inhibits natural movement of my Yellow Lab’s ankles. As for getting them on…NOT EASY. It’s very frustrating trying to get his paw all the way to the bottom. Again, ankle issues. The natural angle of a dog’s ankle makes it very hard to get these over the bones without a struggle. My boy is extremely tolerant about putting socks/boots on, so we did eventually get them on, but it was a huge hassle. Too much hassle to be worth it each time. And then they flopped around and came off. :/I really wanted these to work both for paw protection and snake protection while hiking in the Southwest, but they’re a hard pass. I’ll continue looking for something better!

    HUGE
My 66lb Golden’s paw measured 2.75″ across, so I got the 3.15″ boot, thinking it would be better to have a little extra room rather than a snug fit. I don’t know what kind of horse-dog would fit in the boots I received, but the shoe is over 4″ wide and they are almost as long as my arm – far taller than the 9.5 or 10 inch height described.I couldn’t even get my dog’s foot all the way down to the shoe part, because her legs aren’t long enough! Something is way off about the sizing listed here, a medium might have fit her better, but I wound up getting a different style altogether.

Can’t get his feet to stay secured in boot 🐾🧐
I like this product in theory, because the boots I’ve used always get lost in the snow when I bring my dog to cross country ski. When he goes off trail to romp, we always lose a booty or two. I thought I’d give these a try because they’d have a better chance of staying on in deeper snow. Putting them on is a challenge to get the fit secure, especially on the back legs. There is quite a lot of of waterproof fabric to manage, and it becomes difficult to tightly secure, especially because of the bend in his knee. The boots are kind of rigid in how they ride up the leg and it doesn’t account for the bend in his knees. What I noticed is after jumping around or playing, his leg slides up in the boot sleeve and there ends up being way too much room at the end of the boot and he’s just flopping it around. So it’s hard to keep his foot secured in the boot portion. I wish someone would make a booty like this with a gripping type of sole, and then some kind of neoprene sleeve. I guess I’m still on the hunt. I want to love these , but I’m still testing…

    Tall boots
I got these boots because when it’s raining the dogs go out and come back with sopping wet paws and legs and then they have to go in their kennels until they dry off.. So far these boots seem to stay on really good and their legs stay dry.. These boots even fit the our smaller dog as well.. I would buy these again. These boots seem very sturdy and very good quality.

    Great boots!
No one likes the shovel snow all the way to all the thing dogs like to pee on so these boots help keep the snow away from his paws and allow for more adventurous walks. They stay on and stay up very well.

Only just got them today but absolutly love them I have never found any waterproof booties for my American Bully only one thing I need to get more because his back feet are a little bit smaller then front feet but other then that absolutly perfect for when he has his sore feet and its raining out the rain, wet paths and wet grass make his feet so much worse so im proper happy I found these now hopefully his feet will be way better and stay better so glad I found these wish there was more like them ill still use his socks so he don’t get blisters but it won’t be because his feet get wet no more because its always raining and tiny bit of sun I have never commented on any products but this I am hoping it helps because they are 100% worth it he has struggled to walk at the minute but with his back legs so see how it goes gonna try get more for the back legs but honestly they seem like they are well worth it happiest iv been over dog shoes before lol
