Not effective
This did absolutely nothing for my dog. He wouldnât even try to walk with it on despite numerous adjustments. I intended to send it back but had to go out of town, my 4 day work trip turned into 3 weeks and now Iâm past the return window so essentially I have a $125 piece of neoprene and a dog who still suffers from hip dysplasia.

This has helped my dog quite a bit
Make sure that you watch the video for instructions on attaching this properly. You probably will have to make some adjustments here and there. This has been a big help, particularly outdoors where he was having a lot of problems. Now we go on regular walks, although at a slower pace and not as far. Before using this brace, he was having a lot of problems walking and going to the bathroom.

INFO ABOUT ALL ITEMS YOU NEED FOR IT TO WORK!!!!
IN ALL THE PICTURES THAT SHOW THIS BRACE, IT SHOWS A STRAP THAT GOES AROUND THE SHOULDERS AND NECK TO PULL THE BRACE UP AND STABILIZE IT IN THE BACK. MY BRACE DID NOT COME WITH THIS NECK SUPPORT. IS THIS SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS ITEM? FOR 125.00 IT SEEMS VERY PRICEY FOR JUST THE REAR PART NOT TO HAPPY I WILL MOST LIKELY RETURN IT THANKS FOR YOUR HELP WITH MORE INFO RON RAMIREZ

Too big and bulky
Got this for jack Russell knowing size might be a issue. Way too bulky to walk in. Would take a very calm and understanding dog to wear these. A jack Russell is neither of those. Large dogs May work

this seems to be helping
We’ve watched our 12yr old lab mix’s ability to stand up quickly and walk easily deteriorating over time. His disposition is so very cheerful and happy that we know he is ok; just his body is struggling. So I went looking for an option to help him beyond meds and surgery and stumbled upon this item and others like it. This one seemed to be a reasonable match in price, quality, and construction. Now that it has arrived, I think this has been a good choice. He seems to like having it on since he is more able to stand and walk than he has been for awhile. He gets very excited to put it on. This sometimes makes it hard to put on, but eventually with a few adjustments here and there it gets set up well for him. If i were to improve this, I would make the rear portion a bit more stable and broad. I might put vertical stabilizers on the sides. I think i would increase the amount of material in the back to do a better job of cupping (wrapping) the hips. I think I would also swap the d-ring buckle at the top for a clip like is around the front portion. Overall Im glad that I found this and I would recommend it for dogs who struggle to stand and walk due to hip dysplasia symptoms.

Save your money
What a piece of junk. Quality is poor. Velcro is cheap and the second my dog walks the Velcro comes apart. I have an American Bulldog 100lbs and it barely made it around him. I would pay at most $35 for this thing.

Not Happy and stuck with it
It didnât fit to size, I purchased Large for my husky he was uncomfortable and once I remembered to send it back it was day 31 of 30 and was advised I could not so that was wasted $100 plus but hopefully someone can use it when I have a garage sale

Hard to put on
Itâs really difficult to put on, especially a fluffy dog with hip issues who canât stand long.
This is the worst quality hat I have ever seen. The material almost feels like paper. There is no shape to it. Itâs a SnapBack which isnât what is advertised. –
This item is super cheap. Itâs basically a piece of neoprene and a dog harness you can get from a pet store. Also, it will fit a dog about half the size of my dog even though I followed the sizing chart
