Now THAT is a bed
My 50lb German Shepherd loved the last bed that we got for her. Memory foam and all that, very comfy. However, when it came time to picking out a new bed for her.. This bed was a solid choice. It’s a bit much to put together but, at the same time, it isn’t rocket science. It is just a little bit of a to do but worth the assembly. The double stack of the bedding lifts up and away from the floor and adds another layer of comfort for a dog her size. She is a medium size dog and I would probably be able to fit another dog of her size in this bed with her and they would still be comfortable.

Easy to put together, has a nice double foam cushy base. No way my dogs can feel the floor as it has that much cushion. It does tend to run small. Even though I bought the largest size, it stated for 85 pounds and over. My 70 lb Labrador fits in it fine, but my 98 lb Labrador finds it to be on the small side. Both dogs are within there weight based on height and bone structure. Also would do best for the dog that likes to curl up and sleeps in a ball formation or side sleeps. My bigger dog sleeps on her back, so it is not the ideal bed for her.

Honest review
After a couple of washes and 2 dogs laying on this the seams came apart where the bolster is sewn in. The thread used was so thin Iâm sure shrinkage occurred during the wash and weight just caused it to split. I sewed it back together but if that is not in your skill set to sew together an almost $100 dog bed I would not recommend this bed. The idea is great with the double cushion 2/1 bed but I feel for pets better thread could have used.

Not as described & returning the product costs more than the product itself
I do not typically write reviews, but this experience was very poor. This bed was not as described. The bed was smaller than the measurements posted, the padding was thin and the covering was sub-par. In addition to this, the return policy requires the buyer to pay for return postage. This isn’t a problem, if you want to pay more than the bed cost in return fees. We live in the west and the cheapest ground shipping back to NJ was $134. The seller needs to work with Amazon to properly allow returns that are reasonable. The original packaging has the bed vacuum sealed, so once the packaging is opened the bed expands, this makes repacking into a smaller container/box nearly impossible unless you have super powers to remove the air. We will stick with Costco or Tractor supply store beds as they are constructed with higher quality materials.
