    Best of the best
This is my favorite dry dog food. Not exactly my dog’s favorite every time but they don’t dislike it, they’re just picky. The ingredients are probably the best of the best for dry dog food and they’re very transparent. There is no BS in this food like fillers literally made from garbage. One of the things that drove me to buy from this brand as well was the use of taurine. Not very many dog foods have it and it’s great for heart health. My dog has heart failure so it was important to me to find a food with taurine. I do wish it was cheaper but this is the best of the best in my eyes and it’s still cheaper than some other foods out there. I think it’s worth the price for my dog’s health.

    Amazing product and very healthy
Our dogs absolutely love this kibble. And I have done extensive research and when compared to other brands like hills this one come first especially when it comes to most natural and with less additives.

    Great quality!
We switched to this dog food because our dogs were not handling other dog foods very well. We won’t be switching again. It’s expensive but it has been so much better for our dogs.

  4. No I’m not a Bot or paid to leave reviews.

    Great food for sensitive dogs!
My two pups are allergic to specific foods, so it was hard to find one they liked that also didn’t make them super itchy. This has now been a staple for them ever since we found it! We even had our vet check to make sure this was a good quality food for the dogs and he approved!Seems to be easily breakable, color is brown and doesn’t look dyed. It comes in a huge bag, but to make it easy to use I just put it in a smaller container on my counter to scoop and refill. The dogs seem to know when I’m opening a new bag, because they run over to smell inspect. It must taste great, because they’ll eat it plane or with toppers! Freshness seems to be great, you can smell the fish immediately when you open the bag. A staple go to dog food in our household and will continue to order!

    Great dog food. Very expensive.
Love the product, though my dogs have gained a bit of weight on it. It’s pretty expensive, and that’s the only negative I see.

    Helped my dogs digestive issues
I can’t say enough good things about Open Farm dog food! The high-quality ingredients, transparency about sourcing, and commitment to sustainability make me feel good about what I’m feeding her, too. I highly recommend Open Farm to any pet parent looking for a nutritious, gentle food option for their dog. It’s made a world of difference for us! (I mix 1/2 open farm and 1/2 farmers dog so she’s getting some human food as well but this helps keep cost down)

    Clean dog food
Very clean. My dog does very well on it. No fillers just grass fed beef.

After my vet suggested adding grains to my Boston Terrier’s diet, I tried Open Farm Harvest Chicken & Ancient Grains, and it was a hit! He immediately took to the taste and seems to prefer it over his previous grain-free food (Blue Buffalo Wilderness). This switch was seamless—no digestive issues, just a happy, energetic dog.Premium Quality Worth the PriceAlthough Open Farm is a bit pricier, I feel the high-quality ingredients and humane sourcing justify the cost. The formula is free from artificial flavors and preservatives, which aligns with my commitment to feeding him natural, nutritious food. The 11 lb bag lasts my 25 lb dog about a month, so it fits well within our routine.Pros and ConsPros: Loved by a picky eater, easy transition High-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients Free from artificial flavors and preservativesCons: Slightly more expensive than similar brandsFinal VerdictIf you’re looking for a natural, grain-inclusive dog food with quality ingredients, Open Farm is a fantastic choice. It’s a bit of a splurge, but worth it for a happy, healthy pup!

It doesn’t matter what I think- what counts is whether my dog likes it and he does. I like the nutritional value, obviously he likes the taste.

The kibble is small, like puppy kibble. My larger dog didn’t eat it but my small guy (27lbs), liked it. Ingredients all appear to be good quality with no by-products. On the expensive side.

I had to search for new dry food for my 8 month old Scottish Terrier as the food recommended by the breeder, she has not liked at all! Just for her to eat I would have to add either bits of chicken or vegetables if I wanted her to eat.My husband came across Open Farm when I asked him to go looking for good quality food for our fur baby. He told me all about it and I then went looking and read reviews and we decided it would be worth a try and happy we did!We have done the reduction of 25%-50%-75% and tomorrow she will be on 100% of Open farm Turkey and Ancient grains. You want to know something? Nothing other than Open farm and her old food have been in her dish and she has eaten all of the Open Farm and very little of the other dry food (which also happens to be ethically sourced fish)I don’t know if it’s the dry dog food she has been eating for the past 5 months or it is something else but her coat matts easily and as it does have a shine, it doesn’t feel like my other Scottish have in the past. Now what I like about Open Farm dry dog food is their commitment to using ethical sourced ingredients and have a commitment to ensuring they provide your beloved furry friend the best they can get. Short of doing your furry friend’s food, this is a great alternative to that. I have done my babies food in the past and even though it was time consuming, it was worth it! Now I have something she likes to eat and I don’t have to put anything else in her dish to eat.Thank you Open Farm from the bottom of my heart <3
