Great Dog food
We have been buying thus dog kibble for 17 yrs now. It’s a high end dog food and it contains all natural ingredients too. We use this dog food in conjunction with the Badlands Ranch food. Great combo and it’s so healthy too.

Great product for overweight dogs. It works!
I tried reducing my dog’s food using other “diet” dog foods and nothing took the weight off her like this food. I can still give her a decent amount and she seems satisfied, because it has the lowest calories I could find (245 kcal ME/cup). I learned that most dog foods are around 400 kcal! When combined with regular walks, my girl was able to lose 9 lb in 3 months on this food. I am planning to keep her on it for maintenance purposes. I just bumped her daily amount up a little bit.Update: My dog ended up losing 12.5 lbs in 8 months on this food! Now, she is maintaining her weight around 75 lbs and eats 3 cups/day. We’re both happy with this food. ðð»ðð»

I’ve been a dog fancier for 4 decades. I own picky eating sight hounds. I know there are superior dry kibble brands avail., but if a dog doesn’t enjoy his meals, it doesn’t matter how “good” YOU feel about feeding it. As I refuse to feed raw diets or grain free, or brands with histories of recalls. I’m satisfied with this because my dogs eat it without hesitation, have remained healthy, their stools are firm & normal, it’s widely avail. & often even on sale. It has also made the top ten dry kibble list for nutrition at Dog Food Advisor for 2021 & has pure, balanced ingredients. I endorse its quality & believe it’s under estimated. Note: A change in the appearance of bag has been made but the food remains consistent.

Don’t know why they ask about flavor. How would I know? My dog eats it. Doesn’t leave any, so I guess the flavor is good. But my dog’s coat is sleek and shiny. Has great weight to height proportion, and great energy. This is the 2nd dog I’ve had on this food, both have been very healthy eating this food.

The food quality always seems good but the last 3 bags we ordered were had a hole in them. 2 were just small holes at the top. 1 was a large hole at bottom. Looked like a forklift had poked a hole in it. Half the food was gone and they just taped it up and shipped it as is. The amazon box is always intact but the dog food bag is hit or miss lately

Iâve been ordering the Nutro Wholesome Essentials dry dog food every few weeks for like the last year. Usually all goes well but this week shipping is late and today I had to go searching for my dogs food.To my surprise the packaging is new/different (wa water resistant material vs paper) and the actual kibbles look different in shape and way less dusty.So now Iâm sitting here trying to gecide wether Iâm going to continue ordering from here or not?
