Excellent collagen supplement for pets!
Excellent product to supplement additionally needed collagen (type UC-II) to dog’s diet to support joint, cartilage and connective tissue.

Think it’s better than typical glucosamine supplement
Since my dog has been taking this supplement for about 3 weeks now, he appears to have an extra pep to his step. From walking, running, and jumping. If this keeps up, I’ll be switching to this joint supplement from now on.

He’s not fooled into thinking it’s a “treat” but he does eat it and it helps
My ten year-old miniature pinscher sometimes shows evidence of back and joint pain so I have been giving him supplements to address this issue. I was therefore pleased to see that Now brands has these products for pets so I can give him the same quality of products that I enjoy. This product has a relatively limited list of ingredients, it’s non-GMO, and it’s made in the USA.I learned years ago that these ingredients were tested on dogs because they show no placebo effect and they found that they do help. My dog had some scary episodes of screaming in pain a couple of times before he took supplements and this has not happened since, despite his advancing age, so I will always have these for him.My dog can be a very picky eater so I was concerned that I might have to administer these as medication but after he sniffed it a bit I easily broke one in half and he ate it! I want the best life for my furry friend but also easy care for me and this fits the bill.

My dog ate it, though it doesn’t seem like a treat
Iâve used Now supplements myself and have been happy with the quality as well as with the results, so giving this supplement to my dog was an easy decision. I appreciate that Now supplements (both human and canine) are made in the USA by a family-owned company, and that they contain no artificial flavor or color.Unlike some other supplements Iâve given my dog, this one doesnât seem like a treat. Itâs a round disc, fairly hard, instead of soft and chewy like a treat. My dog was hesitant, but eventually ate it so I have to assume it has enough flavor that it holds some appeal. No stomach upset or other problems. While she doesnât have severe joint or mobility issues, sheâs a ten-year-old golden retriever who is starting to slow down and show signs of stiffness, especially after a lot of exercise. Weâve been using supplements to try to stay ahead of the pain and stiffness, and this is one weâre very happy with.

Positives All Around
Positives all around. I know the NOW brand and take some of their vitamins for myself. A brand that I know and trust is 100% positive and something I am not weary of giving my dog. I also love that this is based on research and NASC certified. Even though this is the first time I am hearing this term NASC certified.I started off with half a tablet for each of my Shitzu’s and will probably stay at that. They are both around 10 years old so they are OLD and probably definitely need to be taking their old doggy supplements daily now. They both tolerated it fine and didn’t throw up or have loose stools so great there. The other thing that is great is that they ate it as is and I didn’t have to mix it with anything. I had a different supplement before and I would have to crush it up and mix it with honey for my dogs to take it.

Suggested by Vet – No change noticed
Our 15 year old lab struggles with her back legs. The vet recommended these and we have been giving them to her for over a year. I donât think they really help her. She has good days and bad but these donât seem to play a factor.

Smells horrid, thank goodness its not for me
NOW supplements, I use them, and now my better furry half gets to use them too! As my doggo is entering his mid-life, I think supplements to help his joints ensuring his full range of motion is important. The ingredients within these are like human ingredients to help with our joints! I have a peace of mind giving it to him and he does not seem to mind.It does smell horrendous though. I don’t know if its the ingredients or the proteins or what but holy smokes, it does NOT appease the senses. Thank goodness these pills are not for me. My doggo stomachs it though. I typically pop it in his food and he happily laps it all up. Definitely will be keeping these as a supplement for the guy. Health is wealth!
