Very happy with this product. All 4 of my boys were starting to sneeze with the weather change or a kitty cold. I gave them each 1/8 of a tsp every 3 days in their wet food. They did not even taste it. Within a few days, no more sneezing! Highly recommend. 1 bottle will last you a lifetime if dosed properly.

My kitties were having frequent URIs. Seriously, between the two of them, there was not a month that went by without kitty sneezes, runny eyes, and boogers on my windows and walls. My vet suggested they may have been born with FHV and said sometimes lysine helps reduce the flare ups. Otherwise, there was nothing they could do.She gave me a jar of lysine product they carry, which is some weird mix of chicken and fish flavor and was an odd brown color. It smelled bad and my cats refused to eat their food when I mixed it in.I then tried lysine treats. My cats still wouldn’t consume the recommended lysine. I got frustrated that companies keep making things with flavors when they are meant to be mixed in food. My cats may like chicken, or tuna, but not mixed together with the flavor of their food!I finally found this product. No flavor! Just l-lysine powder! Yay! I have been adding this to their food every day and they’ve had 0 URI flare ups since finding the right dose. They get an occasional sneeze attack and I still need to clean their eyes frequently, but that’s expected with any cat. I am happy this contains no other ingredients or dyes, as both my kitties are experiencing early signs of kidney disease and I don’t want to make things worse.I feed my cats half of a 3oz can 6 times a day. Each time I feed them, I put a scoop of the powder (1/8th tsp) in the can. So, they get 3x serving gradually throughout the day.This seemed to be the magic number for my cats. When I first started this product, I tried one scoop each and I saw no results (good or bad). I upped to 2x scoops each and they still got flare ups as frequently, but they lasted MUCH less than normal. Finally, I upped to 3x scoops and the flare ups are under control. I can even take them outside for fresh air walks and their little immune system stays strong.I highly recommend this product to any kitty experiencing sniffles, runs, or sneezes too often.

Good qualityâ¦. Iâve worked with cats (domestic & feral) for over 20 years and have always used this product to help with immunity. My cats never gave me a hard time about taking it, Iâd either sprinkle over their dry food or directly in wet food.Follow the directions tho.

My catâs vet recommended me to buy L-Lysine for my cats when they were kittens. It works well. I donât recommend feeding it to your cat every day unless directed by a professional.I mix this with my catâs wet food. They eat it with no problems , so Iâm guessing it tastes fine. There is no smell to it. I know itâs helping my cats because they heal up better with this than the prescriptions they receive.I am very thankful for this product because it saves me time and money.This product was packaged well, I had no issues, and shipment came in time. I will purchase more when I need more and will continue to be a loyal customer to this brand and seller.

Good alternative
Bought this to replace our normal product that was on back order. It works okay, I have noticed my cat sneezes more often since switching though. It mixes well with wet cat food so itâs easy to give to our cat. The texture is good, less of a fine powder so it doesnât create a lot of smoke. My cat doesnât seem to mind the taste of it either which is good. Will probably switch back to our old brand since our cat was less sniffly before, but this is a good alternative.

I almost never write product reviews, especially on Amazon. So this is a testament to how well this stuff works.I have an exotic shorthair. Flat face, goopey eyes even on the best of days, trouble breathing, etc. My cat also seems to have almost no sense of smell probably because she has tiny nostrils and respiratory issues – this means she eats only one type of particularly pungent kibble, no interest in any of the 20+ different treat brands I’ve got her, no interest in wet food, no interest in any human food.I do not agree with the breed, she was a rescue and really is the sweetest cat ever. Her life has been difficult because of her breed specific issues.I’ve had her on this for around 2 weeks and the difference is astounding. I haven’t had to wipe her face at all this week, very little goops (nothing she can’t groom off herself), her breathing is way better, and she is taking an interest in other food and sniffing EVERYTHING. I’m shocked. I assumed this would help a bit but she really seems so much more lively and happy. She’s acting like an actual cat, playing and running around (which would have tired her out way quicker before), doing cat things she hasn’t done before.I’ve had her for 2 years and I’ve never seen her like this. YMMV of course, and I can’t tell if the results will last long term. But I am very satisfied with this purchase.Also great value. No scoop is included but it’s only a 1/8 tsp twice a week sprinkled over her food. This will last easily a year+. She hasn’t turned her nose up at it yet so I don’t think she notices it’s there.Definitely worth a try. Especially if you have a brachycephalic cat breed (flat face).

Having spent 2K on seeing 5 vets over four months, this appears to have massively reduced my cat’s drippy nose and sneezing and she can now obviously smell more, and as a result, is less of a fussy eater. The vets reached the point where they could offer no more help, other than perhaps a referral for a CT scan, etc. but as my cat was basically otherwise well, and she chooses to remain indoors, this felt unnecessary. We did agree to an anaesthetic and nasal camera, which reassured us that polyps/growths appear unlikely, so before going down that route, I would thoroughly recommend giving this a try. Within 5 days of just a teeny amount in her food, once a day, there was a massive improvement.
