Bought these for my two huskies, a 12-year-old female with bad arthritis & an 8-year-old male with hip dysplasia. My male got severe diarrhea from it so he can’t use it, but it has helped my female so much that she no longer takes any pain meds. She bounces around like a puppy again! Accidentally forgot to order more before we ran out & she has been having a hard time moving around again, so just placed another order. I was skeptical when I ordered this as its less than half thw price of the previous supplement I had her on, but this one is actually way better. Never buying anything else for my babes! Also, my dogs have no issues eating them like others have claimed. They think they are treats!*UPDATE* 7/18/19I started my male husky on these again, but more slowly & no diarrhea this time. He’s now on a full dose & is back to his jumpy self! He even jumped up onto my lap in my recliner last night, something he hasn’t been able to do for at least a year! LOVE THESE SUPPLEMENTS!

My vet wanted my dogs to go on a hip/joint supplement so this one seemed like a good value. One has a laundry list of bone and joint issues, the other is healthy but just getting older. Both my dogs really like the chews and eat them willingly as treats or crumbled onto their food. My vet seems satisfied with how my dogs are doing with these treats. I wouldn’t say there was a dramatic improvement but the hip dysplasia/arthritis limp is decreased a bit and my other dog’s “old lady knees” seem to bother her less often.The only thing I didn’t like is that the bottle is really big (I have small dogs so they only eat 1.5 treats per day total) and by the time you get to the bottom of the bottle the last couple weeks the treats are dried out and starting to get hard because they’ve been exposed to air a lot. So I ordered a second bottle but I think I will put some in a smaller container for daily use then refill it from the original bottle as needed, so there is less air exposure.

My dog is 17.5 years old and I swear she is immortal. We have long goodbyes when my son is home because he is afraid she won’t be here the next time – but she always is. She is bouncy and happy and seemingly does not realize that she is on borrowed time. But about a year ago she gnawed a big raw spot on her leg. The vet said to give her antibiotic, keep her comfortable and give her whatever she wants because it might be time to “make a decision”. Needless to say, no decision was made. Her leg healed up and we started giving her glucosamine chondroitin and she almost never limps or chews on that bad leg anymore. These are easy for her to take – she is picky but snaps these right up. That is important because getting her to take anything is a real pain (she’s smart, she will suck the hotdog off and spit a pill across the room like a cowboy hitting a spittoon). I especially love these because they have turmeric and I am personally very familiar with how well that works on pain and inflammation.Who knows how much longer we have her – but we stopped “making her comfortable and giving her whatever she wants” because it became a real hassle and she does not seem to be going anywhere too soon.
