A great product for my dog!
I ordered paw-skins on Prime and they arrived in 1 day. The packaging is really cute and itâs fully cardboard and recyclable. We tried the paw-skins on our dog and after trying many different types of dog shoes, these are the first kind of shoes we found where she can actually walk normally! At first she did take a few minutes to get used to them and did the typical awkward walk, but after a few minutes she was walking and running around the house as if she didnât have anything on her paws. They also have great grip on the bottom so it seems helpful for slippery surfaces or ice/snow! We live in cold Massachusetts so this is great for winter walks. They are relatively easy to get on but more importantly seem to stay on well, which we also had trouble with before. Would definitely recommend for active dogs!

I SOOO wanted these to work
My elderly dog has been troubled by our hard wood floors, slipping, sliding and eventually splaying out on all 4 legs. It was very painful for him. I have purchased many booties for my dog but none of them stayed on so when I saw the silicon booties, I had real hope. I was SOOO hoping these booties would work and for the first day, they did! He did not have an issue with them at all and walked normally. He wore them for a couple hours on Day 1 and the same on Day 2. Unfortunately, one of the front booties ripped on Day 2. It didn’t rip in the toes where you would think they would because of claws, but rather in the heel of the bootie. (See pic). I’m bummed and hope to return them for perhaps a replacement.UPDATE: I am receiving another pair in hopes of a better outcome. This is a great seller and a great product. High hopes and prayers for this next pair.

Would have been great if they lasted longer
I was really excited about this boots. I like the concept, and other boots haven’t worked well for my dog. This product had very few reviews when I bought it, and when I looked off Amazon, I saw that it’s because it’s a brand new product that was funded through a Kickstarter.I like the packaging. But then came using them. Putting these on is a two-person job. That alone is frustrating. We were careful to not overstretch them, as the silicone at the top is thinner. I took my dog around my house in the snow and while he was understandably awkward in them, after a few minutes he got used to them. The next day we used them on a longer walk through a lot of snow and ice and dirt, but only about 20 minutes at the most. I carefully took them off, and found a tear. While the concept of these is cool, with a brand new product like this, there’s no real way to know how their longevity will be. $25 is a great price for dog boots, but not if they are single use.

Edited: The best fitting and natural shoes for your best friend
Edited: These shoes really are greatâ¦the concept that is. I really wanted to love these shoes but the durability isnât great. Iâm on my third pair now as they keep tearing. These shoes will not last if your dog runs on asphalt/concrete. I got baby tears in the soles and on my second pair, the opening just ripped open when I was stretching the opening to put them on. Today, I just came back from a walk around the neighborhood and I saw another tear on one of the shoes. These shoes would be awesome if they made them thicker all aroundâ¦especially on the soles. Iâm still going to support this company as I hope they make revisions to make them more durable. Until then, these shoes are made just for walkingââââ-first review belowâââââââââ-Iâve honestly gone through so many pairs of dog shoes looking for one that my dog doesnât try to bite off or most importantly, stay on his paws! Iâve tried the name brand shoes which look great but arenât practical at all. My dog has huge 3â front paws and a a bit smaller 2.5â rear paws and I found the size large to fit him great even with the size difference due to the elasticity of these booties. They come with additional Velcro straps if you need them for âvigorousâ activities but I havenât had the need to use them as of yet. My dog has sprinted on concrete with these booties falling off. I love them. They are also easy to clean in the sink with some soap and water. Iâm not too sure about the durability of these booties but they are holding up great so far.

They didn’t fall off!
They do not come off. 78 pound greyhound for dog size comparison. Our dog has always sprinted out of all other bootes but not these. When taking them off, the paws are cold but dry, even after 30 minute walk. We have the large size for light snow, salt, wet and mud… they go on easier. With the medium there are zero concerns of them coming off, nor concerns with significent amounts of snow getting into them. Several walks in heavy road salt with no signs of wear. 100% satisfied with them.

Tough to put on a doodle
These paw protectors are tough to get on to a long haired dog. We got them to protect my doodleâs paws from snow build up and from ice melt on sidewalks. They work well for this things and she doesnât mind them too much. They stay on well, unless sheâs fussing with them. Word to the wise: if you are getting these for snow use, donât get the yellow. If they fall off, you might have a surprise when you go looking for them.

Dog Booties that Actually Work!
These are must haves for anyone who needs or wants to keep their dogâs paws dry when itâs wet outside. Our dog easily develops bacterial infections between her toes when they get wet, even when we do a good job of drying them. Weâve tried quite a few other dog booties with no success – usually, they just fall off or she pulls them off. BUT that doesnât happen with these! The silicone allows a great deal of flexibility and grip, allowing her to walk with them. To be real, she doesnât like having them on – but she canât take them off (and actually hasnât even tried to!). Youâve gotta try these!

Ripped on the third wear, poor value for money
I wish I could give these 4 or 5 stars. Theyâre easy to put on, offer great traction, and our dog seemed to love them â he even wanted to keep them on indoors for our hardwood floors! But itâs unacceptable to charge over $20 for a set of 4 (with no backups!) when the upper parts are so flimsy.
