DUAL METAL SPRING INSERTS –There are two metal spring strips (removable) in each dog brace, which form a semi-rigid support and stabilization to your dog’s rear legs during the injury recovery. Remove the strips and continue to brace after your dog regains mobility
MOBILITY ASSISTANCE — NeoAlly Dog Metal Spring brace provides support and stabilization to assist your dog to move around, give her support and keep her body balance during healing, and save her from future injuries
FLEXIBLE & ADJUSTABLE — The metal support strip is inserted into the dog brace, which does not touch your dog’s skin. It can be removed and re-inserted easily according to the condition and needs of your dog
SAFE & SECURE — You can easily adjust the dog brace through the 2 separate reflective Velcro straps, which not only provide visibility in dark but easily fasten to anywhere on the brace, keeping the brace from moving or sliding down.
NOTE: This is the SHORT version for dogs with short legs. If you need a longer brace, please check the long version.

Customers say

Customers find the pet supplies provide good support and fit for their pets. They mention they stabilize the hocks while still allowing movement. However, some customers have reported issues with the Velcro not sticking properly, making the braces useless.

Great support for my aging Pomeranian.
Great fit, durable, easy to put on and take off. Purchased to give my Pom extra leg support after re-tearing her CCL which had been surgically repaired 3 years ago. I was not putting her through surgery again. My vet was pleased with the fit and said the extra support would help with the healing process. Your dog needs to wear the pair.

    Quality made
Did not work on my dachshund. Made very well. Better for dogs with longer legs.

It is not worth buying if you want something to help your dog go to a company that specializes in dog braces don’t go to Amazon I bought this and it hurt my dog. It did not help her at all I should have learned my lesson the first time but I didn’t I was hoping this would be different but once again it was not. This is 2021 so you know it’s an updated message don’t buy them.

    amazing
my guy has had two knee surgeries about 6 years ago. always had wobbly rear legs.. never knew he could be weak in the hock. he slippedd was struggling after a week of healing he is fine but i wondered if there was some way to give him support and found these. sizing is tricky.. i ended up with medium, short ones. i wish the straps were just a tad longer but other than that my boy is doing great with them. super supportive. my boy is a 35 pound cocker / clumber spaniel mix fyi

    Velcro no longer works
It worked decent for about 3 weeks, but now the Velcro doesn’t stick so it’s basically useless. Helps to stabilize the hock while still allowing movement. I would say light to medium support.

For a Very specific dog and knee issue
It seems like it will work for a very specific knee issue. My dog had a previous injury and it formed a mass around his knee, a bit above it. When he runs/walks a lot he limps, so I thought this would help. It didn’t stay in place and he pretty much pulled it and chew on it.

    Good fit braces
The extra small size was perfect for my Yorky Pooh. She’s about 10 pounds.

    Support
Easy fit for my dogs enlarged back knee that has arthritis. Hope it helps him with walks, especially with supporting that bad leg. Too early to tell.

Grace a cette atèle, mon chien a retrouvé la stabilité dans sa patte arrière et vous m’avez sauvé $4600 de frais de chirurgie. Depuis qu’il porte l’atele, il marche sur son pied, il monte les escaliers et joue. Merci

they are to tight take 1 size up and they will fit easly beather on the dog leg ,if so that you can over lay them ,over like rapping over each side over lapping this way it wont hert the dog leg by scratching on her legALL SO i have ordered some Socks to put on before puting the braaces so dog leg does not get skin irritation!

I like that they’re easy to put on, but I don’t think they’re long enough for my Golden. I wasn’t aware that there were other versions. I’ve been trying so hard to find something that will help my 6 yr old golden with ligament damage. I can’t afford to buy another set of the longer ones and I can’t afford $4,500 to have it surgically repaired. My fault entirely for not reading the description well enough.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that the size XS does not have the NEOALLY LOGO on the braces so I only rated 3 ⭐’s. The logo would have ensured that the braces are put on the correct legs as per the instructions. If the XS is too small for the logo to fit an embroidered “L” and “R'” would have been sufficient. Otherwise these braces work great for adding stability to my 15 year old rescued Chihuahua who has luxating hocks and patellas. I wish NEOALLY would manufacture this style of brace that stabalizes BOTH the HOCK & the KNEES all in one. Just sayin 🙂
