It works
My six-year-old cavalier, King Charles spaniel had dark gunk in her left ear for a few months.After using this for a few days, it is clearing up. Iâm so glad!I had been using the epiotic solution and it didnât work so well.

If you can stand the smell lol
When I received mine I only got a little less than half of the bottle because it had leaked out all in the bag. But, my dogs havent had a good ol ear cleanin in I dont know how long. This stuff is super strong eucalyptis and nanouli dont quote me on spelling but I think Im close lol. So, I put some on a cotton ball like it says and did my best to clean my rottie’s ears. She just kept sneezing and sneezing and would hardly let me do anything. She is a big baby. What part I did get to do worked pretty well. But, I cant say for sure how good honestly because the smell is REALLY strong. If you can handle the smell, this might be for you.

Floppy ear saver
My dogs have floppy ears and you have to clean out the wax buildup and soothe them. They hate the process but this ear wash doesn’t seem to burn as it’s applied. I had another brand, very effective but apparently it burned their delicate ear membranes and they gave me the dirtiest looks ever. So this is more gentle.

Good ear cleaner
I’ve used their shampoo on my dogs and liked it so I got this ear cleaner to see how it worked. I like the ingredients and it is an effective cleaner. I am sensitive to strong smells and this scent does not bother me and I don’t find it to be an unpleasant scent.

Not exactly what I thought it would be
This is a review of Black Sheep Organics Natural Ear Cleaner for Dogs(4 fl oz)-for Itchy Sensitive Dog Ears-Eliminates Smelly Odor,Waxy Buildup-Rosemary&Niaouli Essential Oil in-Gentle Formula Home Pet CleaningWe have a standard poodle and her ears get very dirty, smelly and occasionally infected. Our veterinarian gave us an ear wash which is squirted into her ear canal and then our dog vigorously shakes her head and in so doing ends up coating the inside of her ear canal with the ear cleaning solution. This helps dry her ear canals and cleans them at the same time. This is not that.This is a liquid which you squirt onto a cotton ball and then wipe the inside of the ear. It will help clean the outer ear area but it doesn’t do much of anything for the underlying issue. I also found the bottle inappropriate for dispensing the liquid inside. Liquid leaked out of the sides of the pivoting top instead of only coming out of the opening in the top. The ingredients do not seem to pose any sort of hazard as they are mostly essential oils and carriers (water, vinegar, ethyl alcohol.) I don’t care for the way it is dispensed and it is not really doing anything to clean the ear canal, only the outer ear.

I really like Black Sheep Organics Ear Wash!It smells great and contains stellar ingredients, such as aloe vera, apple cider vinegar, rosemary, niaouli, geranium, lavender and witch hazel. It arrives in a tinted bottle with a flip up lid, ready to apply with a cotton pad. Neither of the Pug Boys experienced any discomfort upon its use and their ears smell fresh and clean.This vegan, Canadian-made product has a shelf life of about 13 months, which provides one with an ample amount of time to finish the bottle, if used regularly.

My dog loves it.
Any products such as these are always subjective and depend on the user. That said, my dog is always scratching his ears so I was definitely interested in this product. My first concern was if it would cause burning when I sprayed it. It didn’t seem to bother him, and brought some relief to the itching. So far, using it regularly has been helping him. I also like the fact that it’s a natural based relief. There’s no guarantee it will work for every dog, but for the price, it’s worth taking the chance.

My dog doesnât mind when I clean his ears with this at all! So itâs clearly not irrating. Smells really nice too but not in a bad type of perfume way. I have a beagle so he needs his ears cleaned in between baths too so I will be buying this one again when Iâm out. You also do not need much either on your cotton pad!

As an All Breed Dog Groomer, I see endless ear problems. This product is the best I have ever used for general maintenance cleaning.Perchance of mites, bacterial/fungal infections, no groomer should be using any solution towards the inner ear. This should be honored as Veterinarian only territory!However, for cleaning debris and wax from the external part of the ear and on the ear leather, I have never used a product as effective as this and I have tried many!!This product is not just for cleaning but also because it contains a natural surfactant. Using it immediately after the bath, any water that may have inadvertently managed to get into the ear will be dried up. In my salon, it is mandatory to follow this procedure before placing a Hoodie over the dogs head for general drying.I have used this particular product in my salon and for my own dogs for many years now!A little goes a long way!

This should not be put in any dogâs ears. It inflamed my dogâs ear so bad itâs red and dried it out.
