Well made, dog likes it
Very well made, good strong stitching, not too thin. The top material is shiny, slippery feel and cool to touch. Nice (about 1/3â) cushioning in the middle, not thin like some mats. The bottom has tiny (silicone?) dots for good grip to floor.My dog seems to like it and laid on it after a few curious sniffs. It does keep him a little bit cooler on hot muggy days.Iâve bought a couple of similar mats (different brands) in the past. This one is the best quality Iâve purchased to date.I have not had it long, so canât comment on how it holds up over time.

Bought for cat but used for dog
Bought this mat for a feral cat house. Upon receiving it I felt the mat could easily be snagged by cats claws possibly even getting their paws caught on it. Otherwise I liked this mat as it was cool to the touch. Thought I would try it in my dogs crate. The crate door is never closed and the dog is free to come and go. She normally pulls out any mats or blankets we put in there. She seems to like this one and leaves it in there. She is a husky/German shepherd mix and seems to like laying on it. If sheâs happy Iâm happy.REVIEW UPDATE 7/13/24: My dog still likes this mat and leaves it in her crate. The only problem I have found with this mat so far is that her hair balls up and attaches to the mat. She is a husky/shepherd mix with more of a shepherd type of hair coat. I used a fabric shaver on it though and it came back looking like new. Still glad I purchased this mat.

Well made
This is a really a very nice mat. The problem was that my dog would not lie on it. I followed her around with it, put it on her favorite spots, sat on it myself, but no way was she interested in it. I donât think it was the mat itself. She usually seeks out the bare hardwood floor because it is cooler. Maybe it just didnât look like a cool spot to her.

My corgi seems to like this pad. With all the hair she has, it makes her a little more comfortable and cool in her kennel. Good buy.

Not great at cooling
This may does have a cool feel when you touch it, however, it the air around it is warm it stays warm. It is also warm from less than 5 minutes of my pupper laying of it. I would suggest spending the extra money on a nicer productâI found a great brand that does work even when itâs a littler warmer

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this cooling blanket having never purchased one before, but since my Pug was getting hot resting in her bed, I thought I’d give it a try. She loves it! It’s definitely cooler to the touch than her bed and when she comes in from a walk, she runs for it. I wish it came in some other neutral colors like beige but this is a winner. It’s very good quality and it stays put thanks to the type of backing that it’s made of. I highly recommend it.

Samoyed doesn’t like it a lot
I take my dog to work with me and my office has all carpet, so I bought this thinking it would be better than the hot carpet, and i didn’t had to worry about gel, water or anything but my dog prefers the carpet ð , on a day it was in the 80s (26+ C) he did put his head over so it does cool down a bit

It took a little bit to get but considering where it came from it was quick. I put it under her blanket for nighttime as I feel my room can get warm. Material is strong and sturdy and it stays cool all the time. The size was great for my 30 lb Wheaten.

Discovered cooling pads last year and the dog did make use of them, but they were gel-based and â quite frankly â kinda awkward as the pads were thick and bulky and there was always the concern of the gel leaking out if a tooth or nail accidentally pierced the pad.Thankfully, that will not be an issue with this MoraPets pad, which, as an added bonus, is washable!! Just putting your hand on the pad, you can feel a drop of a few degrees â granted, it’s not like you’re touching an ice-cube, but it’s something that will definitely make a difference to a dog’s belly on a hot day.
