Helps a lot!
This dog bedliner is not totally waterproof, but it sure helps in multiple ways. First it is water resistant so it will keep some of whatever is on the bed cover off the inside. The second thing I have found is that it makes the bed insert so much easier to put your laundered cover back on as it is slick and makes that job a breeze. One thing I have done is to leave the zipper on the liner open 4 inches or so, because it does hold air like a balloon and this will let the air out. I also leave the outer bed cover unzipped a tiny bit and make sure that the zippers on this liner and the bed cover are open at the same corner so they can let the extra air out. You’re not really supposed to put them in the washer but they are easily hand washable and maybe if you put them on delicate cycle, no spin, you can just hang them to dry. Because of the material, I’m pretty sure it will dry quite quickly. I have bought multiples of these so that I always have clean liners in covers for the dogs.

Itâs slippery waterproof layer, but dog seems to have adjusted.
Will save laundry for a large lab who likes the outdoors. The waterproof lining is sturdy and zipper is large enough to slip the entire large bed with bolsters into it easily. The lining poofed out a lot at first, and dog seemed to be slipping off the mattress a bit. I opened the zipper about 3-4â and that solved the air pillow problem. Our dog is a ânesterâ and scrapes and turns in circles sometimes before settling down. This liner seems to be holding up just fine, along with the bed cover by the same manufacturer. Good product – thank you!

Best Dog Bed Liners
Unlike other liners, Molly Mutt liners can be laundered in washing machine. Seriously, who wants to hand wash dog urine? These are perfect for my rescued and senior dogs. I highly recommend these!

Great bed cover
Does NOT fit the Costco round beds but it does have a great seal. If the bed were just a little smaller it would fit it perfectly and would be it water resistant. Thatâs on me for not measuring correctly though, weâll keep them around for another bed weâll get.

WATER RESISTENT Liner Keeps Doggy Oils/Odors From Ruining Bedding
First off, this is not a waterproof liner. This is water resistant. And indeed it is. The liner does protect the insides from my doggies slobber, a bit of leaked urin, and the occassional random wetness from wet paws/damp fur. But no, you cannot soak it down with a hose or pour a cup of water on it and expect it to be totally water proof and water tight. If you need something like that, just put your bedding in a plastic bag. I don’t really have a problem with my dog wetting his bed. But I do have an oily and smelly dog. The waterproof liner keeps the “doggy smell” from soaking into the stuffing inside. I used to have to throw out the other beds that cannot be taken apart for washing after they got too smelly and dirty. But because this liner keeps the inside stuffing from soaking up oils and odors, I just have to wash and change the outer duvets to keep my dog’s beds fresh and clean.I love this bedding system because I can stuff the liners with whatever I want to make the kind of bed I want for my dog. Old pillows, cushions, worn out blankets, towels, t-shirts, etc. I also made an orthopedic dog mattress by buying foam (hard for the bottom layer and memory for the top), cut them to the right size and stuffed the foam into one of these liners. My dog can have as many comfortable beds as I have things to stuff inside the liners. The duvets come in so many colors and patterns, too. You’ll find something to suit your taste and decor.I highly recommend this liner and the coordinating duvets. Do yourself and your dog a favor and get this.

Life Saver
My old pup is coming to his 17th year and sometimes has accidents when he sleeps. I got him the this bed that he loves but with the constant washes, the insert was coming apart and losing cotton. With this cover, it has kept me from having to wash the insert as much which is saving me a lot of $$ bc I don’t have to replace it!

“Waterproof Dog Bed Liner” Ain’t Waterproof…!
I’m reading through the several dozen reviews here and all I see are reviews on the duvet that goes over the liner. Where are the reviews on the waterproof liner itself? My older dog has been having incontinence problems lately, and it’s become quite the chore to have to wash her various cushions and towels on a daily basis. I came onto Amazon to find some kind of waterproof pillow. In my search, I came across this simple liner that claimed to be waterproof and had a great rating from its users. From the video on Amazon regarding the durability and waterproof-ness of this product, it appeared to be a perfect, relatively inexpensive, solution to my problem. I ordered three of ’em several weeks ago, received all three, and immediately got to stuffing the liners with the various dog beds I’ve got in the house and out on the porch. Both of my dogs were a bit tentative (initially) on lying on the newly-covered beds, but, eventually, they both seem fine with its “crunchiness.” As for my dog with the bladder issue, all I do is cover the Molly Mutt Armor-Waterproofed Lined memory-foamed bed with a towel, and simply wash the towel if she has an uncontrollable problem — the memory-foam bed is protected by the waterproof liner. Great! All’s fine-n-dandy, thus far. This morning, I woke up to find that my older dog pushed aside her towel during the evening, and peed directly onto the waterproof liner. Alas, the accident went right through this so-called “waterproof” liner and soaked the memory-foam bed inside of the liner! Naturally, I am extremely disappointed with this product and its false claims of being waterproof. I would be curious to know if any other purchasers have encountered the same problem with the liner? Again, now that I’ve actually read the numerous reviews posted, all I see are comments about the duvet and not about the liner itself. At 20+ bucks, I would expect some validity in the manufacturer’s claims. I could’ve simply used a large plastic garbage bag around the memory-foam, slipped it into a duvet, and truly had a waterproofed dog bed…! Very disappointing…!!! 🙁 [FOLLOW-UP: The Sellers did contact me pronto and relayed that, after reading my negative review, did some random tests regarding the waterproofing issue that I had. Apparently, according to the Seller, their tests proved that the item was, indeed, waterproof: No leakage on their end. I suggested that maybe it was simply the particular item that I purchased that had a manufacturing problem. The Seller did say that I could return the item for a replacement or money-back. At the time, the accident had only happened on one of the three bed liners that I had purchased. Since then, unfortunately, ALL three of the bed liners had issues with waterproofing! I can see if one of the three had problems; however, all three being non-waterproofed is a bit much! I’ve had to Scotchgard the liners by hand. Even with the Scotchgarding, surprisingly, the liners still leaked through! I don’t know what’s the issue, but, apparently it has something to do with the material that the liners are made out of. That said, I will have to downgrade my rating from 2-stars to 1-star. I do, however, give the Seller 4-stars for their kind effort in contacting me, even though it was ultimately all for nought….]

I have older dogs and one with incontinence that is treatable but doesnât get rid of all the accidents. This allows me to wash and disinfect easily by removing the cover, lysolling the waterproof interior and slipping a new cover on. Even my son has noticed that house smells so much better and itâs so much easier to maintain the level of clean I prefer. My allergies also love the covers and waterproof liners that cut down on dander going into the stuffing and the covers that are easily washed. Sanitary, durable, easy to clean…brilliant. Well worth the investment.
