I have ordered four of these in total. Our cats love them very much. They are easy to assemble but not sure why they can’t come assembled. They are also easy to clean. I just throw them in the washing machine as they are and put them in the dryer on low/delicate. I have had no issues with this at all. Our cats don’t pay any attention to the handle on the beds but if your pet likes to chew on things, this might be an issue for you. There is also a tag on the bed that might also present an issue for you if your pets like to chew on things or claw at things. I agree with other reviews that it is not waterproof as there are zippers around the bottom of the whole bed. Water and any other liquid can absolutely go through the zipper area. Other than that, these beds are awesome and durable.

Recommend for an outside use
I was looking for water proof material because my elderly dog has occasional accidents. Top material is waterproof but inside stuffing not suitable for washing ( fell apart after 1 wash). I have been washing it since as one piece but harder to dry. Good thickness and true to size. Padding is fair but do not wash or dry in drier (easier to wash off with a hose and air dry). Would be a good day bed for outside use.

About Time Someone Thought of This
So our cat, we’ll call her Count Puke-ula, constantly destroys everything made of fabric with her inside-out style of eating. This particular bed has been a real game changer. It can be taken apart quickly – the padding is inside the waterproof outer cover – thrown in the sink or washing machine, and cleans up in no time. No foul smells left over and the padding remains clean. You may want to use it as your pillow following epic weekend binges or as the cradle / catch basin while changing the baby. Great product and has held up so far. Zippers are not bullet proof, but take your time and it will all work out my friends.

I am very pleased with this purchase! My kitty loves it and is very comfy on it! I like the material, it’s not that plush material that I am not keen on, it’s a nice smooth material. Not sure of the waterproof, as I haven’t had anything happen, as of yet, to know if it is or not. But either way, I am happy with it. And the size Medium is perfect for him. It’s great that the cover comes off and can be washed easily. I would definitely recommend this bed.

This bed is great! Washes like a dream and is very easy to put back together afterwards. Dog loves it. I had a similar designed bed by Kong, and it was an absolute nightmare to wash and then put back together.
