Love this for my aging GSD
My beautiful Sadie turned 11 yesterday, and as is typical with German Shepherds, she has developed some arthritis and could no longer hop up on the bed. This was torturous for her, because my a hole cat would sit on the bed giving her the stink eye as he curled up on the bed next to me. She had to settle for the floor next to me. Over the next several months, the cat continue to mock her. Then I noticed she was starting to have hesitancy getting in the car. So, I started looking for a bed step. I’m so glad I found this one. She is about 75 pounds, so I needed something sturdy. I have a small bedroom, so I hoped to find something low profile or collapsible when not being used. I had tried using a milk crate, but she was wary of that and wouldn’t use it. Other dog steps were mostly made for smaller dogs. But these steps are awesome. It is foldable, like a step ladder. When opened up, it can be used as a ramp, or, you can open one or all three of the steps by lifting up the step and setting the wood panel that holds it up. Even though she can handle stairs, she was hesitant, maybe because she didn’t know if she should start on the first step, or skip to the second, or whatever. And the the a hole cat decided he no longer wanted to sit on the bed; he would rather sit on the middle step. Once I moved the cat, she hopped right up and reclaimed her spot on the bed, and she is so happy. We travel to the country house every other week, and this folds up nicely to bring along there. The other things I like are that there is carpet on the steps, and it has a nice wood finish, so it looks nice. Highly recommend this for large dogs

Best solution for very large older dogs
We have two mastiffs with a combined weight of 300 lbs. we need to help them get into the back door of a lifted Toyota Tundra at over 24â in height. I tried the long ramps but the door was too narrow and wouldnât safely fit and the sand paper like surface was way to rough even on their huge paws. This setup easy and on the first try our dogs easily went up and down. No stumbling or uncertainty. It is a little heavy due to being wood but the carpet steps are easy on their paws. We highly recommend these for even very large older dogs.

Sturdy steps for large dog
This is stable and supports my 85 lb dog who is recovering from knee surgery. She goes up and down with no problem. Steps are nice and wide and it’s not too steep. Other dog ramps and stairs are either too steep or too squishy to provide support for a big dog. This does the job perfectly. We use it for her to get in and out of our SUV which is quite high off the ground. It folds up and fits behind the driver seat. We also use it for her to get on and off the bed. The wood is very nice and the carpeting is not slippery. It’s not meant for outside in the rain but we’ll use it despite the weather if we have to. Would be nice to have rubber grippers on the feet to protect from wet driveways or parking lots. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with this product.

Sturdy for my 80lb dog
These stairs are wonderful. They are very sturdy enough for my 80 lb dog. The steps are large enough that she can easily climb them. I highly recommend them. I have one set for the bed and one for the couch.

Looks great but falls apart
The product looks and functions great… for a few weeks. After that the thing falls apart. The grip pads pealed off within a few uses. The screws from the main support on the back fell out and were stripped because it is made out of really cheap wood. I have had to use duck tape all over this thing to keep it going. This is all after the dog has probably used it 3 times and the rest of the time it has been sitting in the back seat of our car.

It’s okay, but didn’t really work for me.
This worked okay for my Great Pyrenees, who is 120lbs and was able to get up the stairs just fine. It takes a little training for them to figure out what the heck this new fixture is. It’s also not super stable because the stairs lean on a little piece of wood, and if the dog kicks their foot up under the stair, the whole thing will flop down and your dog will fear the stairs for the next week.I’m sure it’s great for smaller dogs & dogs with less anxiety. But it was super expensive and I fear I will not use it much because my dog was not a fan.

The product is excellent, however the carrier that they use to ship the product is NOT. The box was all ripped apart on arrival, and of course the product was damaged as a result. Because we had to wait a while for the product and needed it for our dog, I glued the base of the legs back together and then had to stain the legs to try and match it to the rest of the frame.
