The material loosens and the collar can slip off very easily

Extra Loop can be slightly longer
This is a very well-made martingale with fluorescent stitches, which are very effective when I hike with my dog early in the morning. It is thin and very light. It is strong enough for my 87 lb dog. The only thing I wish were different is that the extra loop were slightly longer, so that it would be easier to put on and take off my dog.

It loosens on its own.
The collar is a good width and the color is vibrant. I did realize that I need to retighten the collar every couple of days bc it loosens on its own. We have a large, fenced in backyard so this is not the end of the world for us, however, I can see this being a problem for someone else who relies on walks to exercise their dog and needs to be able to trust the collar if their dog starts pulling against it.

Sizing / slipping issues
The color is true and the reflective stitching is wonderful, however the material the collar is made of (slippery nylon) doesnât maintain the adjusted size. I would tighten the collar and then a few days later it would have slid back into place. I truly believe itâs a material thing bc I have had this style but in a cotton blend and not had any issues.

what i like best is the harder a dog pulls the tighter the collar gets it would be hard for a dog to pull out of this collar.
