Two times the charm, still the favorite!
I bought this bed back in 2014 for my 55# greyhound/boxer mix who likes resting her head on a bolster/pillow and it instantly became to favorite place. Pic one is fresh out of the package. She climbed in and went straight to sleep. It was large enough to allow her to stretch out and still had room for our cats to sleep with her.Then there was an incident. I had no problem cleaning the bed.. when we had our larger capacity washer with no agitator.. but when we moved, i was unable to fit it comfortably into the new washer. The bed got caught on the lip of the drum and tore a gash in the bolster. i repaired it as well as i could but a lot of stuffing escaped. after some discussion, my dog and i decided she needed a new bed.The replacement was purchased in 2019 and itâs still going strong, as you can see by the pic 2. She is now 16 and has loved this bed for more than half her life.The canvas material is fantastic, the color is perfect, it dries quickly, itâs durable. A spin in the dryer will fluff it up back itâs it full bagelness instantly. It was a fantastic investment.. twice.. for us. 100% Poppi approved!

The dogs love this. I havenât had to wash it yet so that will be the true test but itâs thick and the dogs get so comfortable they sleep soundly on it while Iâm working.

My dogs are quite particular about their beds. They usually take several days to weeks to warm up to even trying a new bed. I purchased one and immediately they loved it. So much that I bought a second one just a couple of days later. The padding is excellent. It is a bit bulky but not in a bad way. It is quite plush and appears comfortable. Highly recommend.

As other reviewers have noted, the fabric is extremely “grabby”, but we have a Boston Terrier who has short and slightly coarse hair so it isn’t too much of an issue for us. If your pet has hair that is fine, soft and silky, you needn’t read any further; I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for a bed. If not, you might find yourself having to remove the stuck-on hair daily.The fabric feels very synthetic. Our dog hasn’t taken to it completely yet, and considering the soft blankets he has (and loves) to curl up and burrow in, I’m sure it’s due to the fabric. According to the description it’s made with a poly-cotton blend, and it feels like a 70/30 blend to me (the tag doesn’t indicate). The fabric is also somewhat stiff, but I imagine this will loosen up with time. One advantage to the synthetic blend is that it will clean really, really well and I must admit that that the fabric is durable and very well-made, similar to a light canvas. As far as the feel, I’m trying to think of something common that I can compare this fabric to, but the only thing that comes to mind are my Grandma’s polyester slacks. I had to knock off a star due to the grabbiness and the texture (how something can feel smooth and rough at the same time is beyond me, but that’s polyester for you).I ordered the small bed in red, and it is a bright primary red as shown in the photo. Our dog is 23 pounds and the bed is a perfect fit. He likes to curl up, and he can do that with just enough room to spare and is also able to stretch out reasonably well (although not completely). If your 20-25 lb pet likes to sleep completely stretched out on his/her side, you might want to go bigger. The bed is very lofty, but that’s a good thing since it won’t go completely flat once it’s broken in.All in all it seems worth the $40 I paid for it. It will certainly last our dog many years, if not forever. Still, this bed wasn’t my first choice; there was another bed I was considering that is made with an organic cotton exterior. If you have a bit more money to spend, you have to check it out: West Paw Design Organic Bumper 28 by 25 Dog Stuffed Bed Organic Cotton, Basil/Stillwater, Medium. It’s still on our wish list. 😉

Nap time
These beds are amazing my dogs love them. It came on time with no delays and was a simple set up as far as cutting the air sealed bag it came in. The only con about these beds is they say washable which they are but the fuzz inside becomes flat and loses its volume. The bottom also starts to crack after washes. Also wish they came in brown. But because my furbabies love them I will continue to buy them

Ordered this for my 8 pound Shihtzu as an office bed. I was honestly expecting it to be smaller, and I was pleasantly surprised about how large and cushioned it is. He seems to really like it and immediately started to “dig” in it and nestle in. The fabric isn’t very soft and feels similar to a think canvas type material. However he seems to really like the bed and hasn’t left it since I unboxed it for him. It seems very durable and I highly doubt he will rip it or damage it playing and jumping on it. I threw a blanket on top for him and heis happy as can be and has been snuggled in for the last few hours snoring. Highly recommend.

Heâs a happy boy!
I bought the large (40âx29â), and my boy is a pitsky who is about 60-65lbs. Itâs a snug fit, but itâs perfect when he curls up. Itâs actually a great thickness, and the material seems pretty durable. He did pee on it out of excitement, and it was a pain to clean. There isnât a removable cover (hence the 4 stars), and it doesnât fit in our standard washer/dyer. I soaked and scrubbed it by hand and let it air dry (took about 1 day) and it thankfully came out good as new. I believe this brand does sell this same style but with a removable color. I wish I purchased that one, but I purchased this while on sale ($39), so I canât complain, and neither is he!

Great dog bed! We have had this for about 6 months now, and our dog loves it, seems like great quality too:) When deciding to purchase this bed I was trying to figure out what size to get for our dog, so here is some info on her size to help someone figure out what size to get. For size reference our dog is about 22 lbs (so between a small and medium sized dog I would say) and it fits her with lots of extra room, I’m sure it would fit a medium sized dog as well. Our dog is a mix, but is about the size of a jack russell. So for her she has lots of room which is nice:) There is no slip cover, but it’s super easy to clean, I just throw it is the washing machine and then just let air dry. It’s even easier then removing a slip cover. Great bed, I would highly recommend!
