Works well
I got this for our daughter’s dog who has neurological problems and has issues going up stairs. The harness is well made but can be difficult to use. What should be a simple device has become overly complicated with straps.Overall, it works well but at least for us this is not something you should spend 5 minutes getting on the dog, it should be easy to put on and take off.

Good harness, bad strap implementation
The harness portion is very good. The inner portion that fits against the dog is passed with memory foam so it’s comfortable for the dog. The width of the harness keeps it from bunching up on the dog. Stitching is solid with no frayed loose ends. Now for the bad part. In the add, the straps are shown as independent front to back. That is , They are shown to be connected from the front to the back. In reality they connect across the harness from right to left forming a closed loop, see attached photos . What that means is the dog has to step through the harness which in my case of a TPLO surgery is very inconvenient. Fix the strap issue and this would be a 5 star review

Great support for larger dogs
We ordered this for our Great Dane who hurt three vertebrates in his bacjband could not use his back legs. He’s a 6 lb 92 lb Great Dane and this fit him comfortably. Did a much better job then using a beach towel. Definitely saves on your back so you don’t have to bend over so far. The handle is adjustable to fit short or tall people. My only complaint is there was no instructions on how to put the straps together had to go back to the order and look at the photos to figure that out. That’s my reasoning from removing one star.

This is a great concept, but I was unaware that this product was meant for large dogs. It was much too big for my Frenchie. Had it been smaller, using it would have been beneficial in helping him get around.

Good, but could use some upgrading
This is a decent lift harness, especially for the price. It does okay at lifting a medium size dog when she’s having trouble getting the rear up but I would prefer being able to lift her whole body (front and rear) at once. The straps could benefit from having buckles where they attach to the sling body, so that if the dog is lying down you don’t have to thread the whole strap under their body. Still, these are small things. They are available on other harnesses, but at a greater cost. So four stars for a good value.

It’s Exactly What My Puppy Needs
My pitbull puppy was diagnosed with TTA (Tibial tuberosity avulsion). It’s a small piece of bone, the tibial tuberosity, and it gets displaced from the shinbone or tibia by the pull of the quadriceps muscle group (it’s his left leg). I’m sure you’re wondering how a 6-month old puppy gets that type of injury. By the way, it was a horrible break.I had surgery 2 weeks ago. My wife decided to take our puppy to a doggy daycare facility so I could rest & recover from surgery. She drops off our puppy at 9am. At 2pm, she gets a phone call saying she needs to pick-up our puppy immediately, he was seriously injured. She gets go the facility and asked what the heck happened. They of course blamed it on our puppy. Now, he was left completely alone from 9am-2pm in a dog pen. There were no other dogs, no people…nothing. They checked on him around lunchtime to take him out for about 30 minutes. We know something happened to him during his 30 minute break with one of the staff. We think he was either kicked or he got his leg stuck in something and the person pulled him. We think that because there was significant bruising. Of course, they’re not telling us anything. We’re obviously handling it legally.Anyway, I got this so we can walk him without him having to put any pressure on his leg. It fits perfectly around his waste (with velcro keeping it closed), and it has an opening underneath for when he has to urinate (it’s a brilliant idea). It also has adjustable handles to make it easier to hold him up a bit. This has made all of our lives easier. I can’t wait til he makes a full recovery so we can roughhouse again…I know he can’t either.I definitely recommend this item.
