STURDY SECURE RAMP
I have a pup just diagnosed with IVDD and degenerative myelopy. I needed a ramp in oder to get her in the van for her appointments.I bought 2 different ones.This one is by far the BEST!!!It is secure. It ltches to the back of van.It folds open so NO FEAR of it collapsing like the other one I bought.This holds my 100lb German Shepherd with only a little bit of a bounce. Not enough to frighten her!! And she is a very anxious girl.The traction on this is GREAT! Enough or her to not slip, but NOT LIKE A NAIL FILE (like the other ramp I bought).I Wille sending the PetSafe back and ordering another one of these.*Another feature is that is locks closed when you shut it. And it had a COMFORTABLE handle to carry it.**Note… it is a little heavy..but I needed the big one for my girl. So I bought the longest to make the incline less. â¡FANTASTIC product!Just saying…

Great product!
The ramp just came today. It is a little heavier than I thought, but I probably should have looked at that in the description. Besides that it is perfect. It is very well-made. The treads are like walking up carpet. It is wide and heavy duty. My dog is 95 pounds and this will certainly hold his weight. Plus it has a heavy duty lock so that you can secure it inside your hatch. I have a Kia Sorrento so I got the largest one so it extends far enough to make it not real steep. Great product. We are going to give it a few practice runs, and hopefully it should suit our needs just fine.

Well made, but can be slippery
This ramp is one of the more solid ramps I’ve owned. It’s also more compact because it folds into 4’s unlike the plastic ones. The only down side is that the carpet was too slippery for my french bulldog. I have an outback which sits high to begin with, so the angle was too steep for her to get up without slipping. I’m going to put something on the carpet to fix that. It was also too wide for the side seat. To me that’s not a negative – it just limits your options so customers should be aware. It’s nice and wide which is great for your dog, but you should probably measure if you’re planning to put it in your side door. Overall – a great product.

Really hoped it would work
I bought the 71â L x 20â w ramp for suv. I was so excited to find a ramp that was long and wide for my dog. Have a 105 lb Doberman who is a senior and has more trouble lately jumping into my SUV. I order this ramp based on the information. I was extremely disappointed when I used it.The proâs: it is light weight. Has an amazing handle and folds up for easy storage. It looks nice and was easy for me to use it. The width in this is amazing; my dog felt secure with the width. The length is good but ended up being too steep with my car.The conâs: I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe 4×4. The ramp would not hook to the back of my suv. I have 2 separate hooks and the rampIs set up for a single latch. (I could have figured something out to make it work). The most important problem was that is bowed pretty bad when my dog walked on it. She is 105 lbs and ad says ramp can hold up to 285 lbs. I had a friend lie under the ramp to make sure it was secure,) since we couldnât use the attachment to secure it to the back of my car. It was as also steeper than I had anticipated and it was very slippery. I could have added some secure strips to make it less slippery but in the long run, it seemed like I had to make alot of adjustments on an item that bowed alot when my dog walked on it; and it already isnât cheap.It is a nice product and I am disappointed that it didnât work for me but maybe if you have a smaller and newer suv it might work better. My Tahoe is higher than my daughters suv( she has a 2015 Toyota RAV 4)I really wish this had worked for me but back to searching I goâ¦

Snagle paw ramp
Im so very disappointed with this ramp! My poor girl has a ligament tear & I need to get her safely in & out of my suv to go to the vet. I purchased this as it advertises to be the longest, widest ramp & can hold 280 lbs.The frame seems sturdy however the ramp itself moves when she walks up & down the ramp! Its also not very long so the angle into my vehicle is very steep.My girl weighs 80 lbs so Im not sure why the surface of the ramp reverberates however that doesnât seem safe.Iâm sure it would be fine for little dogs but not for any large ones & the claim of 280lb capability is laughable!

I purchased this ramp to help my 60 pound older arthritic dog get in and out of a truck and SUV ( my back was getting sore lifting her).I debated trying this as I had one before that was more expensive, she hated the rubberized surface and would not use it. I am so glad I tried this one, after letting her practice walking on it inside a few times with a very small incline and a lot of treats I progressed to the truck, with a little guidance using the handle on her harness she went up the ramp, yay! I kept the incline gentle at about 25 inches, due to her arthritis, by putting it at the base of the seat then letting her step up onto the seat with just a little boost. She has since become a pro after just a couple of days and is much happier than when I lifted her as she keeps her independence. The ramp is well made, strong and with a very paw friendly ridged carpet that my dog feels comfortable with. Even though I purchased the long 71 inch ramp it folds up into a small square with a comfortable handle to carry it, it folds securely and does not flop open when carried but is still easy to open and set up, I actually balance it on my feet and just flip it open and put in place…I am a 58 year old woman and have no issues with the weight it seems lighter than my last one, it has a clip you can use to stop it slipping if necessary though it has nice rubber feet that hold it in place. It does not have sides which I was a little worried about before it arrived but it has not been an issue at all as I just line her up squarely to the end and guide her up, she has always been a bit of a clod but has had no issues .Lastly I had a couple of questions and the customer service was immediate, friendly and informative.I highly recommend this ramp.

This ramp is strong and the largest one we could find here. It was still too narrow for our Bernese Mountain Dog who has mobility issues
