Edited 7/11/17: I have nothing but great things to report for 2 years of use now. All 4 of my dogs are still doing great. The German who really needed these is still running around and more playful then she was 2 years ago before we started her on these. She and my female golden (9yr) are both on 2 pills a day and my two male goldens( 7yr) are on 1 pill per day. I am more then sure that if I didn’t find these pills 2 years ago our shepherd would be drastically worse off.One last thing. If you dog is a picky eater, try these. They are the only ones my picky shepherd will eat.Original review:My adopted German Shepherd was having a few issues getting up, she would never jump up on the bed and would rarely get up on the couch. We don’t know the age of our Shepherd due to being adopted. Okay, she was dumped in a base ball field and left to fend for herself. At least thats what the neighborhood teens told us they witnessed. I noticed her walking down the middle of the road and jumped in my truck to get her out of the street. She jumped right into my truck and instantly bonded with me. We really didn’t want another large dog but how can you get rid of a dog that becomes your shadow in less that 4 days. The vet thinks she is about 6 years old.Anyways, I started doing research and lots of price comparisons for different supplements. Across the board there were tons of positive reviews for not only Lloyd & Lucy’s but many other Glucosamine supplements. That is where price came into factor. I needed something very price conscious since I would be giving it to 4 large dogs. After pricing out cost per daily dose and reviews, this was the clear winner.We started the Shepherd out on 3 pills a day and the other 3 Goldens on 1 pill per day. They don’t have any indication of joint health issues. Within 2 weeks I could see a real difference in the Shepherd. She was getting up more and didn’t appear to have as much of a problem doing so. After a month she was getting on the couch more and he would actually jump up on the bed when called. After 6 weeks we lowered her dose to 1 pill per day and kept the others on 1 pill also. They have all been on these for just about a year now. It is really night and day for the Shepherd. She runs a lot more, plays more aggressively with the other dogs and really seams to have a new found youth. This is the only supplement we give her.Another couple of notes. She is a very picky eater. For the first 2 months I would have to watch her eat, she would eat around the pills. I would then tell her to eat the rest of her food in a stern voice and she would eat them. If I didn’t, she would leave them and the other dogs would gobble them up. All three other dogs love the pills as if they were a tasty treat. After about 2 months, she would eat them with her food without needing the talking to. Now she really enjoys them and will eat them as a treat also.Something so rare, I was actually taken back. 1 week after I ordered the supplement, a Lloyd and Lucy’s representative actually called me. They were interested in knowing if the product arrived and was working. I told them that 3 dogs loved them and 1, the reason we got them, didn’t particularly enjoy them. I was told that if at any time I was not happy, I could send them back for a full refund. Seriously, who does that and who actually calls to make sure you know it. It is rare these days to find a company that is so willing to make sure you are happy with their product.One last thing to note. My wife did leave the lid off on a bottle which was about 3/4 full. When we came home they were all gone. We could tell 2 of the 4 dogs ate most of them. We called the vet to find out what to do. They told us that these supplements were very safe in high doses. Bring the dogs in if they start to look lethargic but otherwise just keep a close eye on them for anything unusual. None of the dogs showed any negative signs. All the dogs are 70+ lbs. They also told us to hold off on giving any more for 2 weeks which we did.It is hard to explain the difference these supplements have made on the Shepherd. It truly is a night and day difference in her quality of life.

Points for improvement.
Dec 2017: The box arrived fine, but the tablets are broken, and the bottle is filled with the dust of the broken tablets. This is the second bottle we’ve received in this condition. Do not recommend and will not buy again.***Update May 2018: Seller contacted me and sent a new bottle free of charge in December. That bottle was packed better, with airbags around the bottle, and cotton padding inside. There were fewer broken pills and less powder. I waited until I needed to purchase another bottle before updating my review. I changed it to 4 stars, because, while the product is good and the packaging was better, there was still many broken pills in the bottle. However, I think they put in more pills in to account for breakage because my last bottle lasted almost 4 months (2 dogs getting one pill a day each should be closer to 3 months). And that made up for it.

Not entirely sure if this is what’s helping my puppy in dealing with his Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, but it’s not hurting.
