Lots to like about this glucosamine option
These glucosamine supplements for dogs are from a U.S.-based company and manufactured in the U.S. as well. I have an aging corgi, vet recommended glucosamine supplements. Each of these chews has a fairly potent dose compared to some others I’ve ordered or looked at. It doesn’t have chondroitin as many others do, but that doesn’t bother me, the glucosamine is the main goal. It has “Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA)” which I’ve not heard of before, looked it up and feel good about it being in there. The company also sells supplements for humans, and because supplements are their entire business, I feel like they may have more invested in making a decent product than, say, an offshoot of a company that manufactures other stuff too. Just my opinion, have no way to know. Bottom line, vet recommended glucosamine, these have it, and effortless to get my girl to take it; she loves finding the chew in her dish before eating the rest of her food, thinks it’s a special treat.

Why use Canola Oil?!?!
Why place Canola oil in the supplement ..is basically Omeaga 6 a highly inflammatory fat!!! This will have latent effects for our fur babies. Anything with canola oil is rancid. You kow itâs basically a car oil. Please consider using an a healthier replacement oil like organic cold press coconut oils, same for olive oil or a fish oil!!!

My dog LOVES
We just started adding these into my dogs rotation to acclimate his tummy from the older brand to this brand. He LOVES this flavor; the bites are soft, and even though he’s a small guy (don’t tell him that) he eats them in one gulp (though he “should” chew them, he just gets too excited.) Not sure on if they’ll keep him as youthfully spry as his other brand, but we were having quality control issues with that other brand, and needed to change. These don’t feel like they’ll crumble or get rancid before we get thru the container, like other brands. I’ll update if that changes. So far, so yummy!!!!

DOG Hip & Joints chewable treats for adult dogs
I was given a trial of the DOG Hip & Joints treats for my 7-month-old puppy. While she enjoyed the taste of these treats, unfortunately, she experienced severe diarrhea for three days after consuming them. However, she had no issues with the DOG Multivitamins. Upon investigation, I discovered that these treats are not recommended for dogs under one year of age. Therefore, I have ceased giving her the treats for now and intend to reintroduce them when she reaches one year of age in five months. These look like they’re good quality treats, but kind of pricey.

My doggo likes them
I’ve been giving my 14 year old dog glucosamine chews for a couple of years. I honestly cannot say this brand is better than the one I’ve been using since he really hadn’t shown any symptoms of joint pain before starting my usual brand (I started solely as a prophylactic measure). I can confirm that he likes these “Life Extension” chews. On the other hand, they are about twice as expensive as my usual brand and I really don’t have the ability to preform any ‘real’ tests on these to confirm they are any better or worse than other brands

Great Supplement
My picky senior dogs eats this! I have tried multiple other types/brands and he always just ignores them but not this one. I can see that it is kind of helping him since he is a lot more willing to go out and is moving more around the house. It did take a while to even see any kind of small difference though.

Noticeable difference in my Dachshund
My best friend is getting to his older years and sadly he has been having some joint issues with his left leg. I began feeding him these treats once daily to hopefully help him with his joints and mobility. It took about a week and a half but I definitely have started noticing that he hasn’t been limping at all due to his leg.Very Grateful to have found these and can guarantee I will be a continual buyer for the foreseeable future thanks to what these have done for my greatest companion.

My older dogs love them!
Life Extension Dog Hip & JointsI have a female and male dog that are both 13 now and than a slightly younger male who is 9, almost 10 so figured I’d give these a try. My female is already having a hard time getting around. The smell is horrible but most dog treats like these aren’t pleasant smelling so I expected that. All of my dogs love them and snag them up quickly when I offer it to them. With their weight, the jar suggests two a piece for my dogs so 6 a day. The jar is not going to last very long but I’ll keep giving it to them daily while I have them. Hopefully, it will help them move around much better after some time.
