Perfect for my 3 dogs
My dogs get fed twice a day so the most we have in a bowl at a time is 2.5 cups and it fits perfectly. My youngest dog destroyed two outward hound (hard plastic) slow feeders we bought from our vets office so I opted for ceramic and so far itâs working really well for him. I also have an English bulldog mix and the depth of this bowl works for him personally, he doesnât seem to be having a harder time than his siblings who arenât flat faced. My senior female got these for no reason other than that her brothers were getting them and sheâs also had zero issues with them. I got 3 blue and 3 yellow bowls and they were packaged really well in a styrofoam block so no chips or cracks upon delivery. The color was consistent across each set of bowls. We have lost one of the nonslip dots so far, each bowl has 3. But I feed the dogs in their crates so the nonslip really wasnât important for me. Overall, very happy with the bowls and would absolutely recommend them.

My lab started eating too fast and this bowl fixed the problem. No transitioning, she just went for the food but slows her down as she has to work a little to get the food! Heavy and does not move even on carpet.

Well made, sturdy, we love it! Also beautiful color!edit after a few months of use: still holding up but it hit me that my dog was taking much less time than her last slow feeder to finish her food. The walls are quite shallow on this slow feeder and its smaller in general than her last one. For a 60lbs dog, if youâre main goal is to get them to extend eating time, this may not be the bowl for you. this bowl takes my dog about 2 minutes (wet/dry food combined) and my other can hit 5+ minutes. Our old bowl is plastic so I think Iâll be looking for a larger ceramic one now (hopefully as well made as this one but less shallow). One last thing – the wooden stool that elevates it. Obviously its wood and wood and water long term donât mix. My dog splashes in her water bowl and is messy so it was inevitable for water to be frequenting the ceramic bowl and stand too. long story short the wood turned black in certain areas pretty quickly and is just not holding up. This probs isnât an issue for you if you donât have a water monster and just use kibble.

Works well for a food slurper
I have an overgrown puppy who swallows his food whole and needs a slow feeder to prevent choking. He also needs a ceramic slow feeder because, while he doesn’t like to chew his food, he does like to chew everything else. He’d destroy a plastic slow feeder easily. This ceramic bowl prevents him from eating the bowl after he eats his food. The only con I have is that, for me, it was kind of pricey. But I plan to use it for the rest of his life so it’ll ultimately be worth the cost.

Cute, shallow and tough to ship
Nice design, a little shallow for my tastes but it does the job. Took me 3 tries to receive a complete bowl. Every time the delivery person dropped it at my door it would shatter to a million pieces. If you order- do not get it in the âoriginal product packaging â
